First sentence in the post:

The 4.005 update is inbound very soon. Please make any backups you may need as the update may screw something up like key mapping or tracks etc. Matter of fact maybe just create an entire backup of your main IL-2 folder just in case.

Ah... Maybe should have read the post before starting the download 😄
