  2. Short Stirling bomber ?
  3. Very cool vid ! First glance the aircraft at 1:37 look like some JU88 variant. But it's not. Nose and tail area got me baffled.
  4. Along with COD I always enjoyed playing FarCry when not flying online. Looks like you'll be able to get a touch of dog fighting in while you first person shoot with the latest FarCry5. Stealing the armed float plane at: 6:00 on this teaser vid.
  5. Enjoyed watching this two part series last night. Good insight into the lives of a few top scoring WWI aces. CGI graphics not bad either. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078KW3Z4C/ref=cm_sw_r_fa_dp_c_uwMTAbQ25HE4V
  6. I've been watching as well. Gets very intense when the team gets into confined areas and runs into opposing teams. Makes my eyes bleed. LOL
  7. Hiya Smol'd ,,, back in the Ice Age (IL-2 Forgotten Battles) some of us would call out "Abschuss" when we downed zee indianers. Sometimes "Horrido". Same meaning. military (von Flugzeugen) das Zerstören von Flugzeugen durch Raketen o. Ä shooting down 30 Tote bei Abschuss eines Militärflugzeugs30 die as military plane is shot down

  10. I remember first time reading and/or looking at the pictures when I was little at the dentist office.
  11. One of the guys asked me last night on TS before we flew "How long have you been flying online sims ?" And "How long have you flown ROF?" That was the main question. I didn't elaborate too long as I need to listen more and talk less at this juncture . But no matter how long you've flown combat sims and/or been a real pilot at one time. Every new sim has it's learning curve. And ROF certainly does. I've only flown ROF for a month now and see where I'm lacking and where I'm simply rusty. Aircraft recognition (partly due to my TIR not working) and navigational awareness are two outstanding factors I will be working hard to improve. Lucky for me I contacted JG1_Hotlead the day I downloaded the game and he has gone out of his way to help scrub the rust off and teach me tons of info I would have had to figure out on my own. Cutting this a bit shorter .. (I'm sure that your glad of that. LOL) I just wanted those I've flown with so far in JG1 to know I appreciate the warm welcome in the cold skies. I'm hoping to learn all your names and put them with the voices . Prost Sturtz
