Hi Flyboy, thanks for the invite. I see your info and notice it is coldwar using Syria map. Just need clarification of planeset and Server not showing up in list. Only active at specific times?   Thanks  Cats . . .

Hi Klaiber. Good to see you still at the helm. As usual, exploring sims. Getting bored with DCS for lack of theatre content. I got IL2 Normandy up and running in VR (needs work) and Tobii eye tracker. Bonus - I activated CLOD in VR.  A hoot. 15 years or more have passed. I see that VR is better in CLOD than IL2. Go Figure. Are you guys going to jump into Korea?     Cheers

Hello All,
I'm thinking of switching from DCS to IL2 and rejoining.
What are the recommendations for Il2 versions to acquire that will make me current. I would prefer to focus on current and future missions rather than download the lot if that makes sense. Korea is due and very interested in that.
Cheers,
Katze

Hi Klaiber and thanks for your warm thoughts and invite.
I will visit your Discord site and say hello.
I do fly both Jets and Warbirds in DCS but have a love for the old guys like me. Lately, I've been wanting to dip my toes into the squadron-water again so dropping by here as I have good memories of an efficient process and excellent camaraderie.
Best to you and all JG1,
Katze

Hi Snaggle,
WWII axis or allied. I did see a server JG1 Oeseau Channel Map when checking servers. Is that you guys? Password protected.

Hi Guys,
Coming over from the Darkside for a few tests of IL-2 aircraft and scenarios, I am quite pleased to see pretty-good VR results compared to DCS.
Having a good time mixing and matching my skills against some H2H AI at the moment and slowly getting my bindings set up.
Cheers,
Katze

I hope you don't mind - I moved this to the public area, away from the IL-2 DCG (Dynamic Campaign Generator) section.

Hi,
The title says it all.
What aircraft does JG1 fly in DCS - any emphasis on the warbirds or servers?
