Flyboy

Grew up in Portland, OR and graduated from Portland State University in 1985. Went to Air Force Officer Training School then pilot training where I graduated 1987 (T-37/T-38) and then flew WC-135 (including as flight and sim instructor/evaluator pilot) at 55th Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, McClellan AFB, CA until 1993. Moved back to Portland and was then in the AF Reserves and flew C-141 at McChord AFB (until 1999) and a job at Horizon Air until getting hired at Airborne Express (now ABX Air) in 1996 flying DC-8 as FO then DC-9 as Captain. Was furloughed in 2009 and then went to Air Transport International (ATI) for bit before flying B767 for ANA (Japan) for almost 2 years. Came back to ABX in 2016 where I have been a B767 captain since.

My wife and I moved to Wilmington,OH in 2005 and have been operating a nonprofit on our property called Stillwater Stables working with kids and horses since 2008.

Have always had an interest in computer games since my first desktop PC in 1989. I've always had interest in WWI history and flying and flew with Jasta 9 around the year 2000 (Red Baron 3D). I drifted away from flight sims a bit until recently with the advent of decent VR systems and games, which has been such a game changer.
