Lee Posted August 14, 2024 Report Posted August 14, 2024 This is the first off a four volume set. I suspect it may be of interest to a few people here. https://www.amazon.com/dp/1964637058/ref=sr_1_2?crid=WZ9YZL9G2ZDY&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.8yhXSGjZiPKHMMxX5VPkjx_djYnFEMjjbLy6PPzQ5kZxLvkB3nDuhPxEw4IbDBFBqX_T1I93k_0fWBRoCipiIl2EVnx1wIQL1neLjlFFt7cjFceVFaFnk_oJ_tBRH7Wf5O4foNYlOTPwZT1YYkVAYYrE75P2u8xioe4D0xayXepgDtcRKMox0nAqkwdAoNutbJiwJ0l9oli_5F6QJgppIeYUjCGtdGK-CEq0jKMz840Fi8VX-Iz1CmBW-RtmjRRb0vVH6H0Ko1bnOvlslivdpnFI50hxrBXV_sBen8RnPMk.F4zdu3B6xmP7SxOuVSxorOkG4CVVdoP3kczfT27zAL4&dib_tag=se&keywords=aeronaut+books&qid=1723669729&s=books&sprefix=Aeronaut%2Cstripbooks%2C73&sr=1-2 Butzzell, J5_Hotlead, Snaggle and 1 other 4 Quote
Ludwig Posted August 14, 2024 Report Posted August 14, 2024 I will certainly look at it. I would be surprised if any new information was available, but you never know. I was stunned that there were 3 of MvR's silver cups here in the DFW area. I would have really enjoyed getting to see them but they are kept secured away and it seems invitations are rare. I thought all that stuff was lost when the Russians came through but it was only about 10 years ago I learned that Hermann Göring himself sent a convoy of trucks and support to the house and they collected EVERYTHING and got it out of there before the Russians arrived. I thought for sure that those silver cups were looted and melted down but such is not the case. The peopke involved were absolutely sworn to secrecy and they managed to keep it quiet for a very long time. I think finally something handed down became known on the market and of course everyone asked HOW did this survive and is there anymore? Thanks for posting Lee this will be interesting to see what comes out. J5_Hotlead, Klaiber and Lee 3 Quote

I'm curious to see if they've found any more photographs. Quote
