    I’m sure he’d appreciate any kind of help at this point. I had no clue what to do after he said he didn’t have Paypal lol. It been a day of learning how to wire money internationally. I’m not sure if those sorts of institutions take a % of the money or not. I would just want to make sure that every cent I sent, went directly to him. My banking app makes sending international money transfers pretty easy, free, and fast if I have his information. So im just waiting on that in the mean time. I would be totally fine using a go fund me sort of thing if someone wanted to set one up.

    Yeah, tell me about it. Really motivates me to get my ducks in a row with regard to estate planning. I went into my bank this morning to wire some money and found out that if I sent an international money transfer through my banking app on my phone/ipad instead of going into my bank. I would save myself 45 bucks. My plan is to just do that. All I need are these pieces of information. The recipient's name, address, and account information The destination bank address, SWIFT/BIC or ABA Routing Number The destination bank identifier IFSC, BSB I’m just waiting to hear back from Andy on that information and then I’m gonna wire some funds over . If anyone else wants to send some support. I will be happy to pass along the financial information I needed to wire him. Just shoot me a message on discord or something. Cheers Regards, von Freden

    I just learned about this news today from Andy. It’s a brutal situation as he was not married, and his dear Jane had not made any provisions for him in the event of her passing. He is essentially being forced from his home within the next 2 months or so, as the executors settle Janes estate. I have heard that some members of the Squadron have come together and raised some money to send him. This is truly heart warming. I am taking preparations to send him few hundred quid myself. It isn’t much, but at this point any bit would help. If anyone has the means to help out. Andy could really use our help right now. Such sad news. Our thoughts are with you Andy! Regards, von Freden

    Copy, yeah the plan was to just go with the factory light blue on the undersides that comes with the default template. After seeing the kind of things you can do. It will help make the mud stains pop way more than the black or red ever would have. I want my bird looking dirty so stand by for the changes incoming!

    After having a good talk with @Moxy and going through other members skins such as @Vonrd and @Kliegmann. I was unaware of the possibilities that were available for customization. Such as added oil and grease stains from mechanics, paint chips on the cowling, and mud stains flung up from the wheels. I have decided to do some more alterations. I have also decided to go with RLM 76 on the undersides of the wings as @Heinrich had mentioned. So if it’s ok, stand by for the finalized skin. I promise this time!

    I agree, my plan was this D.III Late, and everything later will be pretty flashy with the spirt of it being post JG1 amalgamation. My D.III early and prior I intend to make more historical, with proper camos and such, Being from Ottawa, our football team here is the Red Blacks, and our hockey team is the Ottawa Senators who are also Red and Black. This is the inspiration. My names initials are EF hence the EF in the insignia, and the lightning bolts are to represent my NCIOP/SAC naval background. As seen in my patches here.

    This plug-in is only available for PS using Win 10/11 and Linux. He originally had to find a plugin for MacOSX to be able to create a DDS format. He found one but I’m unsure if it’s operates exactly like yours. He was able to add the Alpha layer and changed the Red colour to the exact colour you had specified. He also added mipmaps as well. Changes are in ver. 2 above. He told me the colour should be good, but to ask you if the saturation was ok. Thanks again.

    I attempted to get my skin down sampled from 4K to 2K. It ended up just looking like mud. Does anyone one know the exact process to do that? Thanks. Regards, von Freden o7

    lol, The one I picked up is only 6NM which will be plenty for me. The MSFFB2 is plenty for me so this should be a nice upgrade from that.

    More like breaking pot up!! So my CH Pro Pedals have been acting up for a while. I thought it was IL-2 but it was the pedals themselves as they are getting long in the tooth, and getting old. I ordered 9 new pots as I had read that they aren’t made anymore for future repairs, and replaced the 3 pots in it. Only to find out the control arm in the pedals are longer than the ones I just ordered. So I had it disassemble the dang things and use just the control arm portion of the old pots and pair them up with the positional circuit board, and housing portion of the new one so they’d fit, and work! All to save a couple hundred bucks. Thank god they worked after reassembly. My day could have been a lot worse!
