    Copy, yeah the plan was to just go with the factory light blue on the undersides that comes with the default template. After seeing the kind of things you can do. It will help make the mud stains pop way more than the black or red ever would have. I want my bird looking dirty so stand by for the changes incoming!

    After having a good talk with @Moxy and going through other members skins such as @Vonrd and @Kliegmann. I was unaware of the possibilities that were available for customization. Such as added oil and grease stains from mechanics, paint chips on the cowling, and mud stains flung up from the wheels. I have decided to do some more alterations. I have also decided to go with RLM 76 on the undersides of the wings as @Heinrich had mentioned. So if it’s ok, stand by for the finalized skin. I promise this time!

    I agree, my plan was this D.III Late, and everything later will be pretty flashy with the spirt of it being post JG1 amalgamation. My D.III early and prior I intend to make more historical, with proper camos and such, Being from Ottawa, our football team here is the Red Blacks, and our hockey team is the Ottawa Senators who are also Red and Black. This is the inspiration. My names initials are EF hence the EF in the insignia, and the lightning bolts are to represent my NCIOP/SAC naval background. As seen in my patches here.

    This plug-in is only available for PS using Win 10/11 and Linux. He originally had to find a plugin for MacOSX to be able to create a DDS format. He found one but I’m unsure if it’s operates exactly like yours. He was able to add the Alpha layer and changed the Red colour to the exact colour you had specified. He also added mipmaps as well. Changes are in ver. 2 above. He told me the colour should be good, but to ask you if the saturation was ok. Thanks again.

    I attempted to get my skin down sampled from 4K to 2K. It ended up just looking like mud. Does anyone one know the exact process to do that? Thanks. Regards, von Freden o7

    lol, The one I picked up is only 6NM which will be plenty for me. The MSFFB2 is plenty for me so this should be a nice upgrade from that.

    More like breaking pot up!! So my CH Pro Pedals have been acting up for a while. I thought it was IL-2 but it was the pedals themselves as they are getting long in the tooth, and getting old. I ordered 9 new pots as I had read that they aren’t made anymore for future repairs, and replaced the 3 pots in it. Only to find out the control arm in the pedals are longer than the ones I just ordered. So I had it disassemble the dang things and use just the control arm portion of the old pots and pair them up with the positional circuit board, and housing portion of the new one so they’d fit, and work! All to save a couple hundred bucks. Thank god they worked after reassembly. My day could have been a lot worse!

    Oh that sounds interesting. I might check that out. It’s really weird. I ended up using a diffrent set of rudder pedals that I didn’t like as much and they worked fine. Got annoyed with them, when T back to my CH’s and the brake just started working fine. I had to do some weird procedure where I half pressed them in when mapping them. Either way im all set up now.     This is so fricken cool! The Daytona Airshow is defiantly on my bucket list! Great job landing in the sim @Vonrd! I’m very jealous. Looks like it was a blast!
