Cool!  I'll definitely buy this.

I'll still be holding out until the whole DCS: 1944 is released. I love ED and what they do but I'm not ready to buy another duplicate key.

For backers, you can go to https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/personal/backer/ and select your appropriate reward(s).  Save this link, there is nowhere you can link to it on DCS's main page.  For me, I wound up with 2 aircraft and the Normandy map for $50, that's fair in my book.  These planes cost something like $50 each and I get them for less than 1/2 (I don't know what the map will cost). With that, I'm the proud owner of the Dora and am awaiting the 109K-4's release date.  I will buy the remainder, eventually.  However, you won't find me in a Mustang (at least the armed version) until there is a sale. At least with the Dora I don't need to learn the various weapons systems and nuclear bomb delivery methods like the F-86F

I wasn't a backer of the Kickstarter campaign.  But I did buy the Fw 190D-9.  As an aside, I also bought the F-86F (and love it btw).

 

Can't wait for the Bf 109K-4.

I'm thinking of buying Dora but Sabre takes all my time at this moment. The fifty bugs option seems ok for me, but then I shall choose between the D-9 and K-4. Since the P-47 is "must have" for me. It's my personal love affair  

 

On the other hand I pay for BoS last year and more I read and fly the game the less enthusiastic I am about. So I became more suspicious about any kind of "starters". 

The kickstarter options are no longer available, these were raised back when Luthier was still in charge. Now the only options to purchase are DCS releases.

So I do not have the dilemma anymore

 

Actually I'll wait with buying Dora, 'till there will be any meaningful online community and servers

The Dora is amazing btw.

Great plane to fly. The only problem I have is taking off but I hope it'll be better.

 

Compare to BoS's 190 the DCS version is totaly different plane and  "feels" more like real aircraft.

I'm not getting any more DCS games until they release a new map. I'm bored of playing in this map.
