After the fall of France, the British evaluated all available aircraft for their combat potential.  I don't know about the Lewis gun, but the Tiger Moth was evaluated for carrying bombs.  Tests showed bomb laden Moths had poor spin recovery, so anti-spin strakes were added to the fuselage sides and integrated into the horizontal tail.  The video's moth for all its bombs and guns doesn't have the strakes.  See the photo below for what the strakes look like.

This is great information Lee!

 

I wonder if Team Fusion is aware of the anti-spin strakes, as it relates to the bomb loads.

 

I'll post over on their boards and mention it.
