Vonrd Posted April 8, 2017 Report Posted April 8, 2017 Well I guess they have to recoup the monies somehow (apparently by selling rides) but that second canopy really ruins the lines of one of the most beautiful air-frames ever designed. J5_Hotlead 1 Quote
Maushake Posted April 8, 2017 Author Report Posted April 8, 2017 Mitchell is spinning in his grave faster than a Spit's prop at full revs. J5_Hotlead 1 Quote
Britchot Posted April 9, 2017 Report Posted April 9, 2017 Reminds me of the Collings Foundation's TP-51C. Sure it looks goofy but it would be awesome to go for a flight in one. Racking up the hours to be allowed the privlege to fly one solo is far out of most people's price range. Although $2.2k is already a little steep for me. http://www.collingsfoundation.org/aircrafts/north-american-tp-51c-mustang/ Quote
