Grass airfield help?

Hey all! This one’s for the mission makers in the crowd. I’m working on a mission where I’d like to place airfields on locations other than the default locations on the Arras map. How can I make these airfields viable ones to take off and land at? With what I have currently, terrain makes these tasks quite difficult.

I think that is a reason Butzell was setting up the next Flanders on one of the WWII Russia maps.   The Arras map doesn't have enough flat, smooth, cleared ground.

Thanks for tagging them! Both have helped me through PM already; Butzzell pointed me to the terrain adjustment thread on the il-2 forums. Could be an interesting option; however, it would require every player to have a custom file downloaded prior to joining the sever. I’ll have to think through what I’d like to do next. Good food for thought though!
