Thanks everyone! Logitech G920 Force feedback. I was planning on possibly starting a patreon to take donations to buy other car classes and tracks. If I raise enough money I might upgrade my PC and make a few VR vids for those with that capability. but this is much more down the road. I've also gotten into Autocross with a local club and it's a load of fun. Scrubbed off some rubber pushing my car as hard as I could. Going to do it again but this time hopefully with a buddy of mine's 1st Gen Eagle Talon. We're planning on sharing the car for events and splitting the cost of the mods we need. Just when you last need more expenses you find expensive hobbies.

IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad - Made it out alive at least

I'm running the game on full. Clicking the "sharpness" or whatever box in graphics makes a big difference when trying to track planes over the forrest -

I'm not entirely unwilling to do more tutorials in RoF considering my Nub Tutorial has in excess of 2k views and it's only been up for 9 months whereas my next most popular video by views is "Rock n Rolling Scissors 2" with under 900 views and it is over 3 years old! Granted a lot can happen in 9 months but considering how many views I have on that video and how many newbie albs streaming water vapor I still see on the multiplayer servers I'd say RoF, although unsupported, is going to be around for a while simply because of it's de facto monopoly of WW1 online sims. I think I will do a video regarding shallow angle bombing in RoF as it might also help us for FiF. Stay tuned!

I still need to download the mods needed for BA. Last couple of weekends had me busy on Saturday so I couldn't participate anyhow. Dan do you find yourself hitting far, short, or just all over the place in ROF?

My "Nub Tutorial" for Rise of Flight has far and away the most views on my channel and the defensive maneuvers video was well received so I was thinking about expanding in this area. What topic or aircraft would you like covered? Granted I know jack about two engine bombers in RoF I'd say anything regarding them is off the table. I'm also considering going back to BoX. Again. For two reasons: it has a big audience (probably the largest of all combat sims at the moment) and if I can point out what isn't right and how it isn't right to help the Devs and the game succeed it would be worth it. What I have readily available: DCS: Fw-190D9, P-51, F-5E, Mig-21bis. I haven't flown the MiG or F5 in a while and still don't understand all of the systems but I can learn fairly quickly (they're simple). RoF: Everything but multi engine aircraft. CloD: I have flown and am proficient in all single engine aircraft with the exception of the G50. I am also fairly good in the Stuka and 110. I can fly the Ju-88 but I have never bombed with it. I have yet to try the Allied and Italian bombers.

A rather remarkable flight with an extraordinary ending. Don't ask me what happened or how.

I thought they were going to have non flyable bombers? Having a 3D model in game would be a step closer to flyable planes. I'd imagine that if the Normandy Module does well the ground pounders would be next

In order to drive a tank you have to have a specific spawn point for them. I don't think you can just take control of any tank.

lol it's just a gap in the AI logic. When it goes to attack you there's no overriding check on altitude. It's pretty fun. When I first figured it out I think I forced something like 5 or 6 in a row to kill themselves laughing the whole time.

Good catch at 1:20. Error slipped through. **Annotated video but now it's going to bug me** And extremely valid points about BoS that back my pessimism about the game.

I was in a Fw-190 D-9 alone and off comms. There just happened to be other friendlies in the area. It was a P-51 I couldn't shake. Every time I thought I had him he just dug in and clung to my tail. Eventually running the MW50 caught up to me. The graphics for the Caucasus Map is version 1.5 and a bit outdated but the (and feel free anyone to correct me if I'm wrong) Nevada Map was released for the bet version 2.0 and it has improved graphics among other things. AFAIK DCS is still working on combining the two into a single version. Glad that video helped out. It can be even more rewarding to simply land intact after surviving a fight that should have killed you than to get a couple kills.

Here's Central's video

The next time Central does a fly in I'll make sure to post about it so we can maybe show up in force as a squad
