• What is your Timezone?  UTC+1 (summer daylight saving time) / +2 (Winter)
• Do you have a joystick or HOTAS? HOTAS Warthog stick and throttles
• Do you have TeamSpeak and Discord installed, as well as a working microphone?  Discord and headset with microphone
• Do you have VR, TrackIR, or a FreeTrack system for view control? TrackIR
• What sims are you currently flying? DCS, MSFS
• How did you hear about JG1?  I found a post on ED Forum when searching for a MiG-21 group

  Hi, my name is David, I've been flying DCS for almost 7 years, mainly on the F-14 and MiG-21 but I like the Mi-8 as well. I'm a milsim minded pilot.
  I like real procedures and challenges as I fly for a living too.
  As a Mission Editor too, I usually create forgotten wars, mainly african wars with MiG-21, 15, 19, F-5 etc. and I'm looking for a dedicated MiG-21 group of pilots to improve my skills and have fun but at the same time have a good structure and procedures.

Hi @NightFlier - it was great talking to you on Discord the other day.

So that you know--JG1 isn’t actively recruiting at the moment. However, if you're interested in joining, the best way to get going is to start flying with us. We always enjoy meeting new people and would love to have you join our events and practices. It’s a great way to get a feel for the group and see if JG1 is the right fit for you.

If things click and it feels like a good match on both sides, we’d be happy to consider adding you to our roster.

Besides @Balge and @Gus, @Flyboy is another great person to get in contact with.  He's often available during EU times.

@NightFlier yes we still fly it and if you want we can get together. Our time zones may be a bit of an issue unless you’re up late (or early!) but I’m sometimes available earlier in the day. Some of us will be on tonight around 2100 ET/0200 UTC otherwise let me know when you’re available.

@NightFlier I'm the same as what @Flyboy posted above. There is also the possibility of Saturdays for me (and probably some of the others) after about 1900 UTC since we have now completed our EIF tournament which ran at that time.

That being said, this week is the US Thanksgiving holiday and many (myself included) might be involved with family.
