rustpuppet Posted March 31, 2022 Report Posted March 31, 2022 Salute, all I know this is a broad topic but would be interested in your input. I have two sets of Sony monitor type headphones which for a multitude of reasons aren't working for me as far as gaming goes. Mostly because they run Bluetooth on wireless and will only work plugged in on 3.5mm jack. No USB connectivity. Wires on right side for 3.5mm. Thats a big deal for me as far as plug locations and my setup. I have to use a Tack Clip Pro already on my left. I need that range of motion. Battery life isn't really acceptable for long , frequent use. So far I have looked at: Corsair Virtuoso SE- It will run in 2,4 ghz wireless or USB. Adjustable mic so im not exhaling into mic. Removeable. Plugs left. EPOS H6PRO EPOS/Sennheiser PC38x- This seems fairly popular and thought someone might have these. I'm down right now so I might as well take the time to address my personal comms nightmare. Back in the seat soon. Thanks, rustpuppet Quote
Vonrd Posted March 31, 2022 Report Posted March 31, 2022 Take a look at HyperX headsets. I have a 3 year (or more) old cloud and I think Moxy has the newer version. Good sound, mic and comfort. Relatively inexpensive. USB wire is on the left and they have wireless as well. Quote
Britchot Posted March 31, 2022 Report Posted March 31, 2022 I’ve been a fan of Razer headphones for many years. They have USB and 3.5mm plugs that come with USB sound cards (adapters). They have a wide range of quality, I’m using the BlackShark V2 because I’m okay with stereo on my setup and my wife has a wireless Nari Ultimate. I also use a Kraken for a long time with my laptop. Moxy Posted April 1, 2022 Report Posted April 1, 2022 HyperX Cloud 1's with Creative SoundBlaster G3 micro DAC Rockin headset, can pull out any tone I want, and can handle it with any USB DAC. Mox Quote
