I’ve been watching the activity at the Marine base in K. Bay. Got some good shots. Lots of flying yesterday. UH-1s, AH-1s, MH-60s, H-53s, and Ospreys.

Thanks, Klaiber. That’s more or less a casual version of the OODA loop and it certainly works. Wish I had gotten more time to hunt on this flight. I had a 7 kill flight in an F4 using pretty much the same tactics and still had 1/4 of my cannon ammo when I landed. If I could find more targets to shoot at I could have gotten 10.

My grandma is still using an old Nokia style phone and she doesn’t even have the text plan so she’s super old school. Sometimes I kinda envy her but at the same time it’s nice to be able to watch videos while on the throne instead of just staring at a wall.

I haven’t been able fiddle with it enough to get rid of the clouds problem but multiple people report it working.

The view distance in general is a huge issue. Planes pop in and out of view close enough you can still make out their wings and practically ID them

I’m messaging them about clouds. Aircraft disappearing in front of clouds, clouds looking like hell, and being able to see explosions/flak through them are major problems they need to address.

I can’t believe he didn’t get me. When I reviewed the track he had been on my tail for some time and had shot quite a few rounds behind me. Might have been saving his ammo for a closer shot but I was pretty surprised he let me force the scissors.

He started running for it when I hit him. We were low over enemy lines and moving toward one of their airfields so I decided not to push it

Yeah I knew pretty quick I wasn’t dealing with a fool. Having if I didn’t play my energy right he was going to make me pay for it.

He didn’t make it as hard as he could have but considering that he missed the “gimme†shot I gave him when I failed to force an overshoot I don’t think he was too experienced.
