Not being so able to check six is probably a lot more realistic especially for 109s. I always thought I could see a lot more with TrackIR than I should be able to.

A line abreast formation is a good one to use in any case though the distance should be more like 600 meter maximum. At 1k there is a bit too much separation to immediately support each other. But otherwise great suggestions. I’ll probably have more input after I pick up my own VR after thanksgiving.

I saw some stupid review of that game in a google feed on my cell phone. IDK how much they paid that guy for the review but there's no way you'd get me to rave about simulating a 5 hour flight in economy class without at least paying a couple months of my mortgage. At least in an actual flight to Ireland you get off the plane in Ireland. The things people spend their time making....

The difference is between the DB601 and DB605. I tested this in game between the Bf-109E7 and G6. The G6 could only run out to 830 but I surprisingly found the E7 could completely feather out to 3 o'clock. Probably the F4-G4 models are limited to 430.

Idk if you can just have someone email you a track and drop it into your game but I don’t know that you cant

Very nice! I may be getting one of those for my Christmas present to myself. When I remade my current set up I found out the new design doesn’t work well for the wheel. I’ve been wanting to get back into racing after following F1 this season (go Mercedes!). I have another AC video I’ll put out some time this week that is just bonkers.

I used to run 500 meter convergence in the Bf-109 and other planes with hub and cowl mounted guns (like most Russian planes). I found that the extreme elevation put the bullets out further up at the range where I typically shoot (150-300 meters) and I could get hits with less deflection. I stopped doing that because it’s tedious to try to change it every time in IL-2 GB
