  1. Hi, I still haven't had a chance to look into this one, but I will soon.
  2. A beta of the latest DCG is available here for those who wish to give it a try: http://members.shaw.ca/lowengrin/il2dcg348beta1.zip Please post any bugs to this list. Additions (so far) to Version 3.48 Fixed "Ace" AI pilot bug. Tweaked some static objects from a number of campaigns to avoid collision. Note: Install over a complete copy of DCG 3.47 as this beta only includes files that have been modified from the previous build. After installing, remember to reset your basic options and, if using DGen or NGen Replacement modes, make sure these options are re-checked before running IL-2 Forgotten Battles, Pacific Fighters or 1946. Mods which have made changes to the event log may not work with IL2DCG. [Note: the most recent DCG ver. 3.48 URL can be found at the end of this thread. -- Klaiber, 21 July 2014]
  3. Thanks again for the reminder. I'll fix it one day....
  4. If you add modded units (including infantry) to the armor.dcg file (and the gunits.dcg as well), they will act as armor and capture territory if the DCG infantry points are reduced to zero.
  5. The "official" 3.47 version has been posted at www.lowengrin.com. Thanks, everyone who participated in the open beta discussion. Best wishes in 2013.
  6. It's a simple thing to reduce the radius setting to 500m. Just adjust the slider all the way to the right on the Dogfight Server Settings panel.
  7. You must be mistaken. DCG has never kept the stats of deceased pilots. They get replaced on the roster by new pilots as there are only 16 slots for each squadron. It might not be a bad idea to make a new file preserving the "memories" of the dead and missing pilots....
  8. Sorry, the link was case sensitive. Fixed now.
  9. Latest beta is available here: http://members.shaw.ca/lowengrin/il2dcg347beta8.zip Hopefully it will fix the lockup caused during the log file processing when using HSFX 6.17.
  10. ShipSpeedReduction was the culprit in the log you send me last week. I've fixed it in the latest beta.
  11. I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work having both key words in a single location's name. But it should end in _Bridge436. So maybe Camp_Merderet_River_Bridge436 would be the best way to name it.
  12. That would require me to actually add/change some code.
  13. Very strange. I'll see if I can replicated it on my end and then fix it.
  14. I think the waypoints for the Germans and Allieds were just too close together so I've tweaked them. Email me for the fixed file.
  15. Mareth is the one campaign in the package that I did not design. I suspect there's some bad location placement. If I get a chance, I'll take a look and see if I can correct it.
  16. To get aircraft to take off from an airfield in a different direction, you can create a takeoff/flight path in the Full Mission Builder, save it and then cut and paste it into the AIRFIELDS.DCG file in the DATA folder (or 3rd party campaign folder) with a header that has the name of the airfield. (Just look in the AIRFIELDS.DCG file for examples.)
  17. Such a feature is really outside of the scope of DCG - which was initially meant for players to get their mission from the generator and then go and fly it. There was never any intention of giving the players more control/knowledge of the situation beyond their orders. To add that now would require some serious effort and to include it with the actual in-game maps would increase the download size exponentially. So, you can dream, but the reality is that it's unlikely to ever be a part of DCG. That said, there's nothing stopping anyone from creating an add-on that strips all that info out of the DCG data files and displays it (like I believe GS already does).
  18. The maximum number of records you can have between two locations is 1000. While you have a lot in that file, I don't think you've got that many.
  19. For the record, some pilot name files are hard-coded. They started out hard-coded, but I started converting them on request. I'm not sure if Romania is still hard-coded or not. I'd have to check the code. Edit: I checked the code. Romanian names are not hard-coded.
  20. There is a limit to the number of waypoints, but it's in the thousands (I think). No one should have that many waypoints between two locations. Nor is there a limit to the number of bridges, but if you start/end the route with a bridge and call the location "NAME_Bridge", there are some rules documented about that. If there are multiple bridges in the same route, I recommend six waypoints between any two bridges.
  21. I suspect there's an error in your rds file still which the checker didn't catch.
