  1. Thxs for the repply Idefix ... I tested the command on a different campaign (Poland39, which is a default campaign) and the same thing happens. The command is just simply ignored by the DCG system. I also introduced a NewsBrief command and that one worked fine for the same date. I guess there is something more to it like u said .... Well, lets see with Lo can give us a hand ....
  2. Yeah, I also read that Idefix44 and as u can see in the post above the syntax seems to be correct ... And as the other commands work in the time table I think the problem lies in the rds file. The issue here is that I've checked it like 100 times already and I cant find a single misspelling in it. The only thing I can think of is that i didnt align the the waypoints as Tailspin's manual suggests ... What do u think?
  3. Hey Lo, How are u? Hope all is fine ... I have an issue i would like to ask about. I suspect the problem is on my side so I would like to know if anybody else is having this issue as well just to make sure. I have the following commands in my timetable for a custom made campaign: 19400510 TCapture Axis Luxembourg 19400510 TCapture Axis Luxembourg_Industrial_District 19400510 TCapture Axis Sandweiler_Airbase 19400510 TCapture Axis Ockenburg_Airstrip 19400510 TCapture Axis Valkenburg_Airbase 19400510 TCapture Axis Willhemsbrug_North_Bridge706 19400510 TCapture Axis Willhemsbrug_South_Bridge542 19400510 TCapture Contested Waalhaven_Airbase 19400510 TCapture Contested Dordrecht_Bridge708 However when the campaign starts, none of these locations belong to the blue side as they should. Am I typing it wrong? Could the a misspelled rds file cause this type of problem? All other commands in the timetable for that particular date work including the NewsBrief, NewColumn, etc ... Only the Tcapture is not working
  4. Switching to dogfight mode was probably the most important achievement of the campaign Nephris. Once again u have done an amazing job. Count me in
  5. Paul can this be used in dogfight mode to restrict players loadouts as well?
  6. Sorry for the previous posts Lo, Removing the brackets solved the issue and now the timetable.dcg is working just fine again for my campaign.
  7. After some testing I was able to find the source of the problem. It seems to be in these lines here: 19440605 NewsBrief English Allied = \n\nBriefing: \n\nAfter a year of numerous reconnaissance missions and bombardment of several strategic targets in Europe, the SHAEF has finally given the order for Operation Overlord.\n\nI know we all have been anxiously waiting for this day and most of you cannot wait to take it back to the Huns but, due to the persistence of this nasty weather, the whole thing is going to be delayed until tomorrow.\n\nDespite of that, however, the Allied Supreme Command has requested the RAF, RCAF, and USAF air forces to patrol and ensure aerial superiority over the Normandy beaches (Utah [AI-13], Omaha [AJ-12], Gold [AL-12], Juno and Gold [AM-12]), which not only will be the site for the landings tomorrow, but also the site of a large paradrop operation tonight to secure the Orne river (Pegasus) bridges on the eastern flank and north of Carentan on the western flank. 19440605 NewsBrief English Allied = \n\nMisison Objectives:\n\n- Fighters: Patrol the French coast over Normandy and maintain, at all costs, air superiority;\n- Recon Planes: Reconnaissance over Normandy to identify possible enemy defences that may oppose the landings;\n- Ground Attack Planes: Destroy identified enemy emplacements as well as radar stations over Normandy.\n\nReports from the Front:\n\n If I remove them the generation of the mission with its time table works fine ... Maybe the brackets ([]) are causing the problem?
  8. I have a problem Lowengrin... I'm using the latest version of DCG software in dogfight mode to create my own custom campaign. I tested the campaign with a timetable I created to add squads and events to the campaign and all worked fine. I then decided to introduce some briefings in the time table using the NewsBrief Command and then things started to go crazy. DCG no longer reads the timetable and creates missions completely ignoring the events in it. Is there any character restriction on these?
  9. Nice idea ... Specially when it comes to patrolling squads. They could be generated normally but the time delay could be applied in the patrolling waypoints per se ....
  10. Lowengrin, Is it possible to have a statement in timetable to enable and disable the active front option?
  11. Great Nephris! I'll stick to the other forum then. Looking forward to the next mission now that i got my iron cross lol
  12. Awesome campaign Nephris! Thank u so much for the invitation and ur hard work into developing it. I highly recommend it to anyone here in this forum to take part in it. The guys are very nice and friendly to everyone even if u dont speak german. See u guys next week... Regards
  13. Hey Nephris, how are u? Hope u r doing ok. Now straight to the point shall we? lol After several months away from il-2, I decided to come back today to give a try to ur campaign (hope i'm not too late) but at the present moment, my headset is not working. Is there anyway I could join u guys today even w/o a headset? If so i'll gladly take part of ur planned flight today? Where can i met u guys? Thxs
  14. Thank You Lo ... I'm going to give them a try and I'll let u know if they work for 4.12.2. S!
  15. Could someone please help me with the correct synthax for BanPayload? Does it really work? And if so, how to "un-ban" after ... Thxs
  16. Great Grunch! I lkve the fact that u do take ur suggestions seriously and the fact that u r very capable in making them real into ur server. I think now it is almost perfect! Keep up the good work and please keep us posted...
  17. S! Grunch ... Well, it sounds that u r on the top of the game here and im glad for that. Im sure you can come up with some way to process all the eventlog info and integrate a stat system. It cant wait for this to happen!!!! Thank you for all ur hard work and im sure this will be the best server commander out there. One question though regarding the current release version... How can we control mission timer in DCG mode? Riksen
  18. Amazing Grunch.. Somethings I would like to point out about FBDj system for stats. The actual FBDj stat system is not fully compatible as is with the DCG. In order to get the stats to be reported correctly, some small tweaks have to be done manually in the .mis file generated by DCG. When DCG creates a .mis file it replaces the field [Wing] by [WING] which makes it unrecognizable by FBDj when u kill an AI aircraft. Instead of giving u a confirmed kill, it converts it into a Probable kill so this would have to be fixed. One other thing to consider is that unless AI flights have a field specifying they are AI in the .mis file (OnlyAI 1 has to be present in all AI flights) or it also causes this same problem. Lastly, FBDj has to create a .fbdj file in order to be able to read the events of the mission for the stats as you are probably aware, so that would have to be taken into consideration as well when DCG automatically generates one mission after the other. I hope this is of some help ... Regards Riksen PS: Let me know if u accept donations for this amazing project of urs!
  19. Its looking really good mate... Any news on the stat system? Regards
  20. Yes that looks right.... I guess the only important thing is to not place de/ru base and home in locale as well. Other than that i dont think there is a limit to the amount of locales u can put there. Like i said i have 63 of them and they all run fine. If u want as soon as im done editing the campaign ill send it to u.. Cheers
  21. Hey idefix44.. how have u been friend? I have a campaign recently created that contains 65 locations and all of them work properly. But i do not know if there is a limit to it ....
  22. "I'm saying I might be able to expand on the player squad code so that AI squads could use it too. But I'm quite a few more years from retiring from my real job" ... Lol No problem Lo, maybe by then?... Lol Just dont take me the wrong way ok.. I do love DCG! Cheers
  23. I see ... Thank u for the repply Lowengrin but what i meant is to have the same function for the player squad but for AI squad as well via timetable. That way u could set a specific location of attack as well as type of mission to the AI squadrons as well as the players via timetable. That would be a huge improvement for us campaign designers and it would definitely give us some more control over the events that we want to take place in a particular campaign. I know u dont want to look at the code right now or even ever (lol) but if u could please just give some consideration on this one for me ... Pretty pleaseeeeeeee lol Well thanks for listening anyway, Regards Riksen
  24. Hi Lowengrin... I have a few questions about the above suggestions if u dont mind. I see that some of them ended up being introduced in the newer versions of DCG but i would like to know if this one here actually work via timetable: - Set Mission type: To allow you to set a specific type of mission as well as location of attack/defense to each individual squad, not only the player one, so they can each be given a specific objective at a particular date. I;m building a campaign that would benefit tremendously from such a feature ... Thanks for ur time and continuous support to DCG anyways! Regards, Riksen
  25. You indeed did put them on their knees w DCG! Long live ur DCG and our beloved iL-2 ... Regards
