  2. Welcome Salmo! Thanks for getting the ball rolling!
  3. PM me with the password you want.
  4. Forums are integrated with the web site. Logging into the web site and checking remember me should do the trick. If it is not let me know and include the URL you are using by copying it from your browsers URL bar. Thanks Winger!
  5. Going to get on Syndicate tonight to fly around and has some funs. Anyone want to join? We can get some good videos, test out various attacks, and see what trouble we can get out of. Prolly get on about 9:30 in place of Ghost Skies, now that it's done for a while.
  6. I've disabled the feature - I will re-enable it when I get a solution from the creators.
  7. There is a thanking feature of this forum module. For some reason it is blowing up threads. For the time being DO NOT USE THE THANKS FEATURE. Please, ignoring this may get you suspended.
  8. JG1 is now comprised as three sites. The original two with a parent site acting as a landing site for both/all sub-sites www.jg1.org is the top level, parent site. www.jg1.org/richthofen/ is the WWI site www.jg1.org/oesau/ is the WWII site while they all appear to be virtual directories of the same site, they are independent sites. Each site, while shares the same security pool, we must register on each to gain access to them. If a user registers with the same details for user name and password, it will recognize that you are the same person from a security aspect and it will allow you to navigate from site to site without loginning in each time. So, to properly register for all three sites follow these steps. 1. Go to www.jg1.org and click register. 2. Enter your user name, ie mine is 'krupinski' 3. Enter your first name and last name 4. Enter your display name, ie mine is 'Rabe' 5. Enter your email address, ie mine is krupinski@jg1.org 6. enter your password and repeat it in the confirm password. 7. Click register You now have "basic" membership rights to the www.jg1.org site. For www.jg1.org/richthofen/ 1. Go to www.jg1.org/richthofen/ and click register 2. Repeat steps 2 through 7 of the steps for www.jg1.org, using the same values. You now have basic membership rights to www.jg1.org/richthofen/ For www.jg1.org/oesau/ 1. Go to www.jg1.org/oesau/ and click register 2. Repeat steps 2 through 7 of the steps for www.jg1.org, using the same values. You now have basic membership rights to www.jg1.org/oesau/ If you DO NOT use the same values on each site, your security records will not be linked. I will need to delete them and have you start over. Once you have registered on the site(s) you will gain access to all of our 'basic' membership content. Once I assign you to the appropriate security roles, such as 'Member', new content may be available to you, such as training materials, member skins, etc. The forums: Once we pull the switch tonight, the forums may not be available. In their present form, they will go away and be replaced by a forum system integrated with the site, i.e. will look at feel like the site(s) and will use the already present security. These instructions will be posted on www.jg1.org in case these forums become unavailable.
  9. Many of you many find you do not have access to forums that you used to have access to, such as Staffel 4, 5, etc. This is due to a role based security "thing" that I am trying to hash out. So for the mean time, you many not have the permissions that you used to have.
  10. Unless there is a real need for the landing page site, (www.jg1.org) i was planning on removing the forums from there. Any thoughts?
  11. Thanks Klaiber! Yeah it seems to be coming together nicely. And the content is going well, thanks for that: I just can't see to focus on it yet .
  12. There is a slight issue with the forums that I am trying to overcome. It's not too bad, but I can't seem to isolate the forums per site, it looks like both JG1 R and Oesau (plus landing site) are sharing the forums. Ultimately, I want to isolate and separate them, but it's not a show stopper.
  13. These forums are the permanent forums. You will not have to register for access as it uses your website security permissions. You will be able to access the old temporary forums here, http://forums.oesau.jg1.org/ for a little while, but no one will be able to post there anymore. If you have issues with these integrated forums, let me know either my forum post, website private message or get on teamspeak.
