S! Everyone, The FIF Admins take the dead-is-dead rules within the Flanders In Flames tournament very seriously. And we are extremely appreciative that the FIF community has been so good at policing itself. You make our jobs much easier, and really help to create the fun environment that FIF is known for. During Session 5 of the current campaign, a Red Team pilot re-flew after death. The rank of Offizierstellvertreter is a senior noncommissioned officer. It literally means "officer deputy". It compares to a Royal Air Force "Acting Officer" and a US Army Air Service "Warrant Officer".

Hi All, I wanted to send out a reminder to everyone regarding the Flanders In Flames schedule: http://forum.jg1.org/topic/3905-fif-xxiv-teams/ There will be no official FIF mission this Saturday, 2 July. It's Independence Day weekend within the United States, and turn out from North American pilots will be low. The tournament will resume next week, on Saturday, 9 July!
