  1. With this sale going on, I can pick up a few of the Entente aircraft. What are some must-haves?
  2. I just stumbled upon that list today. I was looking for how they put a box around the aircraft name or say "Available for you" instead of "Buy" on the top left once you purchase it.
  3. I have it! I don't like how 777 doesn't tell you that you own it on their website the same way they have the aircraft listed.
  4. It's all in the interest of science...
  5. In that unanswered thread it mentioned that the ducking when crashing works as well as a way to test out the hitbox with a pistol.
  6. Post #3 for spamming sake! I wonder if we'll get pistols and be able to use them ala Paths of Hate?
  7. A quick search on RoF forums found an unanswered thread with that very question. It's easy to test on the ground with a buddy and a pistol, though.
  8. Have you noticed ducking while getting shot at to avoid getting hit in the head? If so, then I bet Barton's point would be valid since RoF and BoS are using the same engine.
  9. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1800715#post1800715 WIP cockpit photos.
  10. Hand signals and pilot head bobbing. It's hard not to get excited for this game. I like their approach to the game and I hope it doesn't make any relatively recent computers obsolete the way CloD did.
  11. That is quite a clever idea.
  12. I purchased the ones above and even got my first flight in the Huey. I only crashed when I decided to try some high speed braking low to the ground :/
  13. head movement, too. I wonder if there will be a pilot shadow on the wing?
  14. just remember you have to have LOMAC in order to get FC3...
  15. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=108190
  16. What a great way to spend a Sunday morning! http://s23.photobucket.com/user/GSXR_pilot/slideshow/SNJ-5B%20Flight
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1j0LFPNVko Not sure if you've seen this yet but it looks promising. It was mentioned that they have modeled ground effect and the lighting for the cockpits are quite stunning. I was talking to USMC_Trev yesterday and I have come to the decision of what leaves IL-2: 1946 in the past for me, lack of cockpit shadows and 3D, 6DoF cockpits. Although I find them highly entertaining, I can live without clickable cockpits. Even CloD winds up being only a few quick switches then on to my HOTAS and the Su-25T in DCS: World is a blast to fly. So all I need are dynamic cockpit shadows and 3D cockpits. Well, shadows, 3D, and rendered trees that you can see from the side.
  18. Especially after the slaughter I ran us into tonight.
  19. Nice footage! When did the British start adapting Japanese fuel cell technology? I've never seen so many disintegrating Spitfires. Honestly, great marksmanship with the cannon, though. AC/DC should get paid massive royalties for all the military videos they've been featured in as the soundtrack.
  20. That was pretty cool. I need to get my T-6 ride in soon! With that title, I expected this for the soundtrack:
  21. "In 2005, an 83 year-old World War II pilot is surprised to see 16mm footage of his 1944 Spitfire crash for the first time."
  22. I recognize WDWMKR' date=' who wouldn't, lol. CH3, he was my very first consistent wingman in IL-2, I still enjoy flying with him whenever I can. The guy clearing your tail, I don't recognize but he was great at communicating. I was surprised at how long you kept the overheat on. I need to test the 190's tolerance to that more. Good save on the deck when you tried to break. I'm surprised your engine even fouled. Nice reversal' date=' gotta love the Friedrich. I'm not sure where the foul language actually was but anytime WDWMKR is online you need to put on earmuffs Thanks Barton.
  23. There are also some really good mods for the clouds that make them look very good. I'm going to give the free ones a shot then probably go all out and get the best version. http://soaringclouds.com/products Flying underneath the clouds the other weekend while working a shear line was amazing, I didn't want to descend!
