It would be great if this guy opened up for her!

This is a little old, December, but I don't know if it was noted here. I stumbled on it while trying to research the German "lobster-pots" that were anchored in the channel during BoB. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2523196/WWII-Sunderland-flying-boat-raised-seabed-65ft-waves.html

Okay, yes, definitely a wonderful movie. I have to admit, it had me a little choked up.

Barfly has put together some wonderful films, I'm going to fire this one up as soon as I finish doing my wife's homework...
-
Yeah, I switched my pitch trim to adjustable stabilizer and it's working like I need.

I saw Hess online and decided to just bear down and set my controls again. I'm pretty efficient at the settings now. MP was cut down to 25 players per server when I got online. I don't know how to get FPS displayed but it seemed a bit choppy and the one engagement I had showed some rubberbanding from my opponent and other 109s. The unlockable mods are pretty neat, but not a game changer, which is good. The tracers are the same as RoF from a distance and I get flashbacks of Star Wars, those things are out of control.
-
I just installed the new launcher, I've got to set up all the controls again. Honestly, with Pragr's writeup, I've lost my motivation to test the MP out until they do some optimizing. I will be on CloD, however.

Team Fusion's mod work on CloD is legal in the same manner that HSFX and UltraPac is for 1946. The mod team isn't allowed to make money off of it or they would violate copywrite laws, but they do it for the game and the enjoyment for themselves and others. So yeah, it's certainly legal.

I'm hoping for the same thing, Hess. CloD wasn't just that we wouldn't fly it, it's that most couldn't fly it due to performance problems. TF has done a lot to turn it around, maybe now we can get people to give it a second chance. It will be easier when they add more maps and maybe some more airframes.

I wonder how many ground objects they will have running? I would love to see these stressed to full capacity so the devs can have it optimized by release.

5 Reasons Flying a Fighter Jet Is Way Crazier Than 'Top Gun'

Congratulations and welcome back. Where are you building these fuselages? Are you still in S.C.?
-
I think you should, Klai. You've been on the fence for too long, lol!

I got this email earlier today, I'm glad you posted it up here with the link. I'm looking forward to the ground taxiing changes now that I've actually taxied a tail-dragger!

Seeing Mölders made me sad. It's funny to get that feeling watching an old movie about a foreign country but, to me, it looked like a wonderful man who had an infinite amount of potential and vibrance that was cut short due to a non-combat incident.

They are I./JG3 during BoB, later II./JG1, and @8:45 is one starting up. That video makes me want to fly CloD. Those shots of the Ju-88's glide bombing were awesome.
-
That 109 at the end sure didn't want to give up that bomb, did he?
-
I still think we should cash in on the Farm Simulator's multiplayer and PvP.
-
Heck yeah!

Awesome compilation, Barton. If I didn't know any better I would have suspected Segler had moved to F19, but I don't see our Seg saying "Shit Happens," much less typing it into chat.

Turns out he was on final and had engine problems. He was aiming for a grass strip and came up short, hitting the lip of the raised taxiway: http://www.aaib.gov.uk/publications/bulletins/december_2008/north_american_p_51d_20_mustang__g_bixl.cfm North American P-51D-20 Mustang, G-BIXL Report name: North American P-51D-20 Mustang, G-BIXL Registration: G-BIXL Type: North American P-51D-20 Mustang Location: Duxford Airfield, Cambridgeshire Date of occurrence: 13 July 2008 Category: General Aviation - Fixed Wing Summary: G-BIXL was on a final approach to land on a grass runway when the engine began to run roughly. The pilot advanced the throttle which led to a marked reduction in power. The aircraft touched down on the grass short of the runway but was forced back into the air when it crossed the lip of a raised taxiway. During the following touchdown and deceleration, the left main gear was damaged and the propeller hit the ground before the aircraft came to a halt. The cause of the rough running and power loss was not positively determined at the time of publication of this report.

I wonder why he chose the infield instead of the great big paved runway?

It was just published on the 19th of November. I may try to pick it up for the history of JG3 in BoB. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1780962983/ref=s9_newr_co_d63_g14_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=left-3&pf_rd_r=0B03HGX1176KEV1TPEQY&pf_rd_t=3201&pf_rd_p=1280661842&pf_rd_i=typ01

I got a chance to fly the 109F-4 tonight before my weekend-long visitors show up. It felt a lot like CloD's flight model and the lighting was very nice, especially at night. I do hope they fix that heading indicator, as of now it spins backwards :/
