Britchot Posted February 18, 2016 Report Posted February 18, 2016 might as well just climb in it and go! Quote
J5_Hotlead Posted February 18, 2016 Report Posted February 18, 2016 Very cool video. Thanks for sharing Hess! Quote
Klaiber Posted February 18, 2016 Report Posted February 18, 2016 Speaking of massive RC aircraft, had you guys seen this? Stuka 1 Quote
Stuka Posted February 19, 2016 Author Report Posted February 19, 2016 S! This is really big. I started to fly RC this year with my modest ugly stick. Quote
Stuka Posted February 19, 2016 Author Report Posted February 19, 2016 S! This is my second solo flight. Sorry for poor quality: J5_Hotlead and Klaiber 2 Quote
Klaiber Posted February 19, 2016 Report Posted February 19, 2016 It may be your "modest ugly stick", but she flies great! Quote
Britchot Posted February 19, 2016 Report Posted February 19, 2016 Nicely done Hess! That B-29 was a great show but the X-1 stole it for me! Quote
Labroisse Posted February 19, 2016 Report Posted February 19, 2016 That's really cool Hess. Nice hat too! Quote
J5_Hotlead Posted February 19, 2016 Report Posted February 19, 2016 That's a very cool little speed demon you got there! Nice flying! Quote
Vonrd Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 I used to fly RC slope and F3B a lot. Google "rc glider speed record". 505 MPH! Freakin amazing... and DANGEROUS! Pretty hard to see such a small object going so fast. Lee might like this one J5_Hotlead and Stuka 2 Quote
Britchot Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 I saw that speed record before, simply amazing what one can do with the wind over a slope. I like that one, too! Soaring is my ultimate escape time. I'm looking forward to getting home and getting in the cockpit again. Karl Spackler 1 Quote
Zerfass Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 Speaking of massive RC aircraft, had you guys seen this? Remember, wingbolt wasn't put in that plane and the wing slowly slid off, RIP. New one flies now a days, that may be the one. I've seen it, really big! They would launch a X1 from it, rocket powered and everything! Quote
