Lipfert
Kameraden, I'm noticing twitchy responses from my elevator in Rise of Flight, instead of a slow pull it twitches causing instability. Curves are smooth? Think it might be a USB issue? S!

Labroisse
Is it only on one axis? If so, sounds like the pots are going bad. Had this happen on my TM Cougar until I got the mod kit for it with Hall sensors.
Lipfert
What type of stick do you have? Saitek X-65F and I'm wondering if it's one of these USB 3.0 versus USB 2.0 things? I've got a new Warthog, but need to rework my desk to use it. S!
IRFC Hawkeye
The RoF response curves utility is the best way to judge. If you check each axis and it moves smoothly from 0 to 100% consistently and repeatably, there's no problem with the stick. If you see it jumping or acting unstably at any point in it's range, it's the stick, and as others have stated, if you have pots instead of Hall sensors, that can happen, although I've seen it happen by poor wire connections on the pots themselves. I wouldn't suspect USB connection unless you lost functionality altogether, and had it normalize after unplugging/re-plugging.
Vonrd
I think the is X-65 force sensing isn't it? Probably uses piezo load cells. Are other sims OK? If other sims have the problem, a ticket to Mad Katz usually gets a fairly quick response. If just ROF... who knows?

Lipfert
Crossing my fingers for you. It might just be my brain shorting out, I flew a number of sorties Monday in the Gotha G.V and managed to not spin it. So, I think I got it sorted. Have a brand new Warthog waiting for my pit build, just waiting to have some cash for it. S!
