Windows, I swear to god

Since the latest update from windows I no longer have any kind of function from my headphones.  None.  At all.  I found them disabled and re-enabled them and then set them as default but I get ZERO sound. On top of that, the SteelSeries GG software won't even recognize the headset at all even though it is set as my default device in windows.  Everything has worked wonderfully from the day I brought these headphones home until today. It is not often that I get the urge to physically assault someone but boy am I feeling it right now.

Wow, that's crazy.  I see the update in my task bar right now.  Kinda scared to load it.

Same. But you can only put it off so long. Barton, what was the fix for you?

Honestly, IDK.  Unplugged things, plugged things back in.  Opened up all the software and tried to adjust settings.  Restarted my PC like 5 times.

The way Microsoft treats Windows is wild. They really do just let it run out into the open with lots of muzzles pointed at it  and hope it survives...

 

I want to make the leap to Windows 11, but I have my reservations for the above reasons.
