Von, Double check your Steam setting, and the setting in Windows itself... Next I would try to cut down all graphic setting and see what happens I'm sure you have already done this... Download and run OpenVR Benchmark from Steam, this will stress test and give you a good bench mark, no pun intended. I wish i could be more help....
