  2. No, I must admit I have not tested other possibilities! Till now, I must never changed in my campaigns the option "Supply Zone"! But this time I had to provide three .rds routes simultaneously, because the map is pretty big! I think, the problem is probably more individually in this campaign! The supply runs roughly like this: Supply Zone ------- 3 ship routes -------3 "Camp" positions ---- (Maybe too many locations) ------ Endlocation Now I wanted to move during the campaign the Supply Zone to one of the "Camp" positions! I have the problem now bypassed while I have divided this campaign into two subcampaigns, and could thus move the Allied Supply Zone with no problems! And the allied have now shorter routes to provide!
  3. I have tested both options in my campaign seperately and both causes the reactivation of the ships! The only thing that can prevent this is to enable the option "Ships Remain Sunk"! However, the campaign ended shortly when I made the changes (Allied supply Zone, Allied Supply, Ships Remain Sunk "On" via timetable)! And the campaign has lost the party, which owned the ships, the Allied?!
  4. Hi, After I removed some chiefs (ships) via timetable.dcg during a 3rd party campaign, I have change in DCG the location for "Allied Supply Zone" and set "Allied Supply" to "100%"! But after this, in the next created mission, all removed ship were reactivated!? Happened in 3.47beta6!
  5. Hi Paul! The problem with the behavior of the escorts is probably due to small distances of some waypoints! I have here an example of a generated DCG Misson and the same Mission again, but with greater distances to each other for the first waypoints! The escorts behaves in both missions completely different at the moment when they have contact with the enemy planes! Mission created with DCG 3.47beta6 and 4.11m (unmodded)!   6. Hi, I personally had never freezes or CTD during a mission that had something to do with DCG! What you describe reminds me more of a memory problem! Such signs I had often in IL-2 with my old computer and that were always memory issues! The only thing you could bring in connection with DCG would, perhaps too many aircraft and ground units in a mission!
  7. Hi, Uncheck under "Mode" the options "Full Auto Generation" and "Replace Career Generator (Dgen)" and under "Files" the "Optional Third party Data folder" option! Delete IL2DCG folder (except the third party campaigns) and delete the "dcg.ini" in Il-2 Sturmovik main folder! Then it should work!

  9. Finally, one question! Would it be possible that flights, which were used for an intercept mission, receive no fixed target in their waypoints! The problem of AI is, that they dont react during the way to the target to other opponents except the target aircrafts! This can be very problematic if the opponents are fighters! Had the problem in many situations in my campaigns, that the interception flights were shot down completely without much defense!
  10. There are usually no land locations nearby except some ships! However, last time there was a seaplane base and ships in the vicinity! And yes, it was a "bomb enemy defences around "Sea location" mission! Action radius setting: 700km As I said, it happens only in the first mission, then everything works normal!   11. Hi Paul! First, many thanks for the 3.47beta! I tested it only for a short time in one of my 3rd party campaigns and I have noticed a few things! 1.The timetable command "setfuel" for the player squadron works sometimes and then not! For the first mission almost never! I believe, it has something to do with the setting of the "SetTimePassage" command", but I could be wrong! Can not really say how it works for the AI squadrons 2. DCG creates for bomber, mostly for the first mission, a bombing attack on a Sea location where nothing is, except the territory flag of the other party! 3.I had in a few "Search and Destroy" missions, against a sea target, only one attack point! The "ingress point" starts at one end of a ship route and the "attack point" at the other end"! The aircrafts flew over the target and couldnt later find the target! However, I can not say whether this is always the case! If yes, is it possible to create more, maybe a second "attack point", in the middle of the route? Thats all, again thanks for your work!

  13. Hi, I've already heard of the problem and had to do with the new Modpacks, but I do not know exactly what the reason is! Have you these files installed in your DCG installation? http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,15016.0.html! They are speciall created for HSFX 5 and DCG!   14. Hi magomar, I have no HSFX 5 and dont know what it could be! Also, I'm personally not sure if DCG is 100% compatible with HSFX 5! The reason of my uncertainty are the new major mods, which produce new entries in the log file and cant handle by DCG! I can only advise you to ask "AMK" at http://www.sas1946.com/main/, who made the files for HSFX 5! He should know what it could be!
  15. I've looked at this subcampaign more closer and I suspect that there will be problems when integrating the new ships for the Task force! The main reason are the commands in the timetable.dcg for this subcampaign! You must know, you can assign a "chief" designation only once! If you simply save the new ships in the .mis file, then duplicate "chief" designations with which of the timetable.dcg will be assigned and that gives problems! A solution would be: 1. Add your task force ships to the .mis file and save it! 2. Then open the .mis file with an editor and add a new number to the "chief" designation line of the new Task force ships! The last assigned number for a column/ship is "82_Chief" for this subcampaign in the timetable.dcg! So you must continue with 83_Chief for the carrier and then 84_Chief for the cruiser a.s.o.! I do not guarantee that it works, but it is the only way to change something without to make major changes in the timetable.dcg file! Hope it helps!
  16. Sure, the easiest way to add a carrier, is to create a .prd route for both sides and add a US Task force to the .mis file! I have made a manual, how to make it: http://www.lowengrin.com/download.php?view.139 But it could be then, that DCG creates for the japanese only missions against the aircraft carrier and probably ignore the enemy ground units at Guadalcanal! The other problem are the US destroyers in the .srd route! If they would destroyed during a mission, then it could be, that they will spawned into the .prd route and the trooptransports have no more escorts!

  19. Okay, the message is gone! Was probably two waypoints that were too close together! It just surprised me,because in previous DCG versions there were exact informations about the faulty waypoints! Thanks for help, phil!

  21. Are you sure? I can say it at least for the offline campaigns I play, destroyed map objects will transferred! But I think meanwhile too that DCG has no influence about it!
  22. Hi, First, many thanks that you started a new DCG forum! To my question: Is there any possibility to prevent that the destroyed map objects are transferred to the next mission! DCG should be in DGen replacment and Full Auto generation mode and the campaign has DGen campaign files! Thanks!
