I use a small space in the corner of my dining room and only sit down in VR. It's completely doable.

Shut the front door! I was just about to get on here and say they should have an app!

THANK YOU!!! Give your wife a great big appreciative hug for me! Finally, some mood music for flying the 109s, 30s and 40s music from Germany! This augments my American catalog of the same period

I'm going to have to pick this up to do some wire cleanup on my PC. I'm looking at buying a few new peripherals and I want to have access to the USBs to swap between games.

Good day, Krieghund, and welcome to our forum. Our CO will be along shortly with further information.

I can't wait to get home and fly this bird in VR! I've always had a special place in my heart for it since I stumbled upon it flying Spits vs. 109s in IL-2: 1946. Also, I moved the thread to the video section.

I absolutely love the Reverend Horton Heat. I'm pretty spread across a lot of genres, to include Rockabilly. I went and saw these guys in concert earlier this year (apologies if I posted it earlier):

Actually, I've been listening to this album lately... OUTLAW COUNTRY, WHOOO!

I'm earmarking this to play in the background for my return binge on Elite Dangerous:

USB 2.0 or better.

The ArmA mod was pulled from Steam for whatever reason. I may pick up Star Wars battlefront 2 for the single player campaign. Finally someone shoots from the side of the good guys!

This guy green screens himself into DCS in a very cool way
Britchot replied to Karl Spackler's topic in Public Discussion
That's pretty cool, indeed! Actually makes me want to pick up the F-5 again. However, I know something else will be back by the time I get home -
I believe, as a whole, we are most interested in an engine that will provide us with a respectful population of squadrons to compete with in tournaments such as what Ghost Skies once held or Flanders in Flames currently does. Unfortunately, no WWII game out there is fielding that style of competitive, DiD tournament. Or more appropriately, no one has organized such a tournament in any of the current WWII games. However, finding a specific banner to get behind isn't only up to us. Personally, I have found more pleasure adapting to CloD and participating in non-DiD servers there than others, currently. That said, I do, in fact, see merits for BoX and DCS on either side of that simulator and have attempted to participate in a BoX server a few times before this trip and pointed out a DCS server offering a similar environment. JG1 "Oesau" needs result driven, competitive, and populated DiD events in order to rally everyone sleeping in the shadows. I imagine it would bring out a lot of our friends in JG51, TUSA, CIA, JG5, and the other squadrons, as well.

MOVING CLOUDS!!!! I wonder if my other wish came true, shadows of your own pilot from the cockpit view?
-
The first one flew over and I thought it was real. I didn't think twice about their available budget, lol.

I will order my hand controllers before I get home (whenever that will be).

I've recently revisited Steve 'N' Seagulls lately: I had no idea this one existed!!! I'm excited

Hmm, for the VR crew out there: http://store.steampowered.com/app/552080/IronWolf_VR/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQFbgmayQ-E

Definitely looking into this mod when I get home!

As a resident of Southern California, I do admit, they have a wonderful aviation mindset. I can't wait to get home to get back into the cockpit. Also, welcome to the forum, I look forward to meeting you online.

I'm not sure if this thread helps any or adds to what you've already posted above but I stumbled on it today. Having not been able to try anything above yet, I'm not sure if it's simply duplicated information. https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/30436-pixel-density-supersampling-steamvr-oculustraytool-and-oculu/ That Oculus Tray Tool in there seems to have open on start-up options that might prevent from having to do it each time you boot up, though.

Starting a "fortnightly" Twitch stream! :)
Britchot replied to J5_Hotlead's topic in JG1 Videos & Screen Caps
There is always an interest in a variety of different games on Twitch. I'd say go for it and enjoy broadcasting. Don't look at numbers, just enjoy yourself. -
I'm pretty decent with the programming of TARGET.
-
Do you mean THIS THREAD, that you even posted in?? I'm planning on watching a ripped copy out here soon.

StarVR might up the game in the VR world. Probably won't come out for another year or so but I'm very interested to see how Oculus and HTC react. I do not regret getting my Rift, I will just build a second computer for my kids to play with me and get another VR headset http://www.starvr.com/news-2/ It does look like this, in that photo, though:
