Spring Offensive multiplayer WW1 campaign

Also, J5’s signature event is now returning to a dead-is-dead format, which might make it eligible for JG1 pilots to earn awards in.

That's great news!

A dead-is-dead format would be awesome.  And that would open up awards and such to JG1 pilots.

I think the only problem we'll have is our commitment to the SCG event.  It's an every other week thing, though.  So that's good.

Oh man... that's great! Unfortunately it looks like it conflicts with our SCG tank event. Decisions will have to be made... I'm not sure what I'll decide at this point. Will have to look over the rules first.

With my back problems continuing I haven't flown much lately, but since these kind of campaigns are why I got into FC I might tough it out for Bloody April.   From the poll on the J5 website however it doesn't appear JG1 is participating.......

I hope that we do.  It's just complicated with the upcoming SCG campaign.  However, it's not impossible.

The J5 campaign starts at 1700 UTC (1:00 PM EDT). And each session is three hours in length.

So, people could technically fly the J5 event, then jump over to the SCG Event at 2000 UTC (4:00 PM EDT) for the last two hours.

That's a lot of sitting, but it's definitely an option for the ironmen among us.

I’ve been working a lot this week and haven’t had a chance to sign up yet but will def be participating and should be able to do the poll later today.

Well, I think that it would be good for JG1 to show some presence in that event and basically I would be interested to fly it. 

But for me the timeslots are rather difficult to meet, it might be possible for me to fly but I can't make it fix, so I am reluctant to indicate now anything "officially", because I am affraid that the Picture for JG1 is even worse, if we have few pilots indicating participation but finally won't show up at all. That could leave a taste of unreliability of JG1, which in my eyes is more negtive than to say "sorry, it doesn't fit in our shedules this time"...
