Diesel Posted March 10, 2024 Report Posted March 10, 2024 Hello, Hope everyone is doing well! I have a problem that I can't manage to find a solution for. When I fly the Mirage F1EE, the throttle will always keep resetting to a fixed position which makes it absolutely impossible to fly. I never had this problem with any of the Warbirds or even the F1CE version. Does anyone have a solution for this? Throttle Problem.mp4 Klaiber 1 Quote
Klaiber Posted March 10, 2024 Report Posted March 10, 2024 You may have a conflict. Check your control settings under axis and make sure that nothing else is attached to the throttle. If that's not it, check to see what the key command for the throttle is within the regular controls. And see if it conflicts with something. Quote

Yeah, I checked if it's double-binded but it doesn't look like it. It might be related to the software for the throttle itself from the looks of it. Edit: I was just blind, I didn't see that both my throttle and rudder were binded to the same axis. Edited March 10, 2024 by Diesel Update Snaggle, Erhardt and Klaiber 3 Quote

It assigns things that it "thinks" are needed. Whenever I get a new module I find bindings assigned for stuff that I never put in. I always clear out everything for all devices except the keyboard. Then I do my bindings. Very occasionally, I still find spurious assignments. Usually after an update or repair. Erhardt, Klaiber and Diesel 3 Quote
Pfeil Posted March 11, 2024 Report Posted March 11, 2024 Yeah I have the same problem like Vonrd. DCS just assigens controls how it likes and even after some updates you have to recheck. This sounds exactly like control conflict. Quote
Weed89 Posted July 4 Report Posted July 4 i have the orion 2 with f15EX grips i CAN NOT get throttle to bind on the ch-47 ( it was working then on/off ..now off) the throttles show as working fine in simapp and all my other planes no issue. but the ch47 even after clearing throttle maping in dcs for it... still NOTHING other sliders will populate in the collective slot BUT not my throttle I even deleted the ch-47 and re installed it..Still no throttle...( plugged my old X-56 throttle in...and the throttle works just fine.) Pulling my hair out...have zero clue what happened..OR how to resolve this 1 MAY DAY anyone Quote
Wittmann Posted July 6 Report Posted July 6 I have the Orion 2, F15 EX also. I'm not sure on DCS, but I know that recently my throttle, which was all set up and working fine stopped working correctly in IL2. I read some IL2 forum posts talking about 32 button X4 mode, calibrating the throttle etc. THe issue was resolved by calibrating the throttle in such a way that I did not activate any of the buttons at the beginning, or end of the AXIS. The sim app GUI sux for this, as it does not show you. I used a straight edge placed in a certain low spot on my finger lift kit ( that's another matter, I want more variable detents but cant find them ! ) Once I eliminated the part of the throttle in calibration that activated buttons on zero or 100 % end, it all worked again.
