I find it all a very sad statement about humanity, the tragedy and waste of life involved in such conflict as well as the acceptance of what the sons of some men do the sons of others and how quickly it is forgotten. Funny how aviation buffs write aviation papers. Mine were on the Human Factors of Aviation Accidents, The combat life of Richard Ira Bong (being a Wisconsinite, had to write about him), and a paper and a speech on the Delta 191 accident in Fort Worth, Texas (complete with CVR recording for dramatic effect.)
