Nope, I have one started though and I'll make one for the plain Su-25 also.
-
Hmm, thought I had done one. I'll check. If not, it'll be on the way soon.

What software do y'all use for controlling fans / AIO pump and monitoring temperatures?
-
$101.3 million Hopefully it will buff out though...

Nope, same issue tonight. PTT doesn't work. Keyboard "Q" does but trying to locate that key while in VR is not an option for me. So far it looks like I'll only be able to use TS as Voice Activation. I refuse to fly that way. I can only use TS for the initial meeting. Will have to use Discord for flying. I'm sorry to be the instigator for not using TS actively but I've tried everything that I can. I'm really pissed at TS management for not doing ANYTHING about this issue since it seems that it affects many users since 2020.
-
Update: Tried it again with Moxy after practice tonight. It "may" be that I have to initiate it by using "Q" keyboard. After that, it worked fine with the Hotas key. I'll check it again next time we have people on TS comms.
-
Actually there were several categories / modules that use "Q". I went through all of them (even the ones I don't currently fly, just to be sure, and deleted all. Same in IL-2. I'll have to remember to go through other games like Tobruk, MSFS, etc to check for "Qs".

I'm not the only one with this issue. This thread goes way back to May 2020. TS response has been BS and many of these people are justifiably pissed off. Most issues seem to happen after a PC upgrade or new build. I bit the bullet and am using JoyToKey to make the Hotas button emulate a keystroke. It works but I have to go through all of my control settings to make sure my choice of "Q" isn't mapped to something... especially "Eject" https://community.teamspeak.com/t/hotkey-on-gamepad-joystick-steering-wheel-can-not-be-set/8316

I have to use the VPC configuration tool to configure the throttle but all calibrations / settings are saved in the device itself. The VPC tool is not running unless changes need to be made. Even my Thrustmasted MFD acts the same way and it has absolutely no interconnected software.

I posted this in the TS forum: Just installed TS3 on a new build (TS3 has worked fine on my old build). When I try to set the PTT hotkey from my HOTAS, it recognizes it but when I hit Enter (or left mouse) to save it it always adds +enter (or +left mouse button) to the selection. Any suggestions? Can hotkeys be manually edited in one of the files? If so, where and which file. There were similar posts going way back through 2020. This was the general response from TS: TS.ChrisRTeamSpeak Staff Feb '20 Joystick and Gamepad support is not included yet. We are working on that. I have no Idea why it was working fine on the old machine. I can set a single press on any keyboard key but that means I have to remove my hand from the throttle or joystick and hunt for that key while in VR. That's not gonna be an option for me. Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to use VAC from now on. I'll try not to breath too heavily.

Looks like TS might be trying to emulate / compete with Discord https://support.teamspeak.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002746438-When-is-TeamSpeak-V5-releasing-

OpenXR support for IL-2 and DCS for Windows Mixed Reality VR headsets

So, what are your settings post tweak? -
All right, the machine is built and running but not without some heart stopping incidence. At first boot there was no signal to the monitor... completely black ... and the VGA light was on on the MoBo. I did all the usual troubleshooting... pulled the GPU and checked the PCIe slot and GPU, checked all connections, tried with one RAM stick and then the other with no joy. I connected the monitor directly to the MoBo and was able to enter BIOS. Installed Windows. While searching for troubleshooting I came across this: Not having display output with latest nVidia 4000-series graphics cards A: If you are not able to have a display output from the brand-new purchased system components (motherboards in specific), please find below suggested resolution steps: 1. Temporarily move your monitor’s display signal source to the motherboard side. Seek for graphics cards’ product page for firmware update and follow suppliers’ update instructions. Sure enough, on Nvidia support site... NVIDIA GPU UEFI Firmware Update Tool Yep, that fixed it. I suppose Nvidia isn't broadcasting this more because of the poor press on the 4000 series cards. Anyway, I've updated all drivers, messed around with Windows settings and just did a fresh install of DCS which took overnight and more to DL all the modules. Now to DL IL2... I have to do some cable management tidying and rearranging my desk to allow two PCs to run. Does anyone remember which files to port over for control bindings in both DCS and IL2? I'll try to make tonight's DCS practice but will probably still be on my old machine.

@Snaggle? Do you remember what the fix was? I think there were issues with CH stuff. Are you using any of the 3rd party peripheral software? Make sure that any 3rd party stuff is disabled and maybe even removed. (Of course, Virpil and Winwing use their own calibration / tweak software (I have both, Virpil CM3 throttle, Winwing stick) but they don't need to be and shouldn't be running when in game. You DO have "Mouse" unchecked in "Input Devices"... yes? Try sending a PM to Wardog5711 on the IL-2 forum regarding the tickets. I feel your pain...

I noticed a bunch of "Camps" (shown on the map with red arrows). May be a position that can be used as alternate airfields. Ground is flat and not soggy. I landed OK but had difficulty getting enough airspeed to take-off. Only tried it once though. Needs more testing.

Yeah Gus, I just found this out at the NZXT Discord. Great and helpful people there.

The folks ay NZXT Discord were extremely helpful. This is what Typhanie came up with. Very convincing argument regarding AMD CPU. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/rkdodge/saved/#view=MCBXRB

My lenses are based on my bifocal prescription and there is a definite sweet spot. Getting a new prescription based on 1.5 meters sounds like a good plan.

Pantherculese has the same rig and I found out some of the parts that are actually installed. The total on PartsPicker is actually $2775 so not as great a deal as I thought. @Lipfert What's the reason?
-
I have the VR Wave as well. WAY better than spectacles!
-
It seems that there are still issues with AMD products and IL2. I think I'll go with Intel and Nvidia (but I'm holding my nose in doing so).

I'm leaning toward this: https://www.newegg.com/p/3D5-000Z-000D9?Item=9SIA08CJ7U8104 But I'll be giving up being able to specify the actual components. I did a PartsPicker with the specs as close as I could estimate and came up costing about $600 more if I built it myself.
