  13. Congratulations to the Entente Team! With a total of 37 points, the Entente team has emerged victorious in FIFXIX. You guys fought exceptionally well. And I think I speak for the entire Central team when I say that it was a tremendous amount of fun. To celebrate the Entente team's achievement, the FIFXIX campaign ribbon shows the RAF roundel on a red background. As always, a big "Salute!" to everyone who participated in this event. Without you, none of this would be possible. Looking forward to FIFXX! The scores for Mission 4 are shown below. . . . 14. Btw, someone posted an authentic F-86 manual to the DCS forums: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=129697 Since there is no manual for the sim, this will definitely help. It's for an F-86E, however. And we have the F series. So some things are slightly different. Here is a direct link: http://aviationshoppe.com/manuals/f-86_flight_manual/f-86.html
  15. That looks great! Can't wait to see pics of it.
  16. Since has become a repository of Bf 109E markings, I wanted to copy over part of a discussion that happened on a private thread. Paraphrasing the question, it was: "When does the yellow undercowling start to appear on Bf 109s?" Here was my answer.
  17. That would make an awesome diorama! If you have time, you should give it a shot. Practice makes perfect. Regarding RLM 65, yeah. They definitely stretched it up the sides to create the "lower visibility profile" I mentioned in my earlier post. The first two profiles in my earlier thread show a really good example of that transition. http://forum.jg1.org/index.php?showtopic=1447&p=6569 Regarding the "darkened tip" tail plane you mention, that's one of those cool JG3isms that sometimes slip into their frontline aircraft markings. Other units had other variations, which you can pick out from time to time. I guess it all depended on the ground crew and how creative / lazy / rushed they were. Here's an awesome example of the practice (care of Cpt. Farrel):

  22. Hi Drucker, great to hear from you! See Britchot's post above. II./JG1 is alive and well.
  23. S! All, Because of the recent 1.033c Hotfix, we're going to move forward with Mission #3 on September 3rd 2014. Same time as usual - 8:45PM EDT server start. 9:00PM EDT mission start. See you all in the air!
  24. I just updated too, and everything seems okay.
  25. Apparently 1.033c has been released. No word on the pre-cocked guns (which means they probably didn't change it back).
