TedsOnMeds got a reaction from Erhardt in Flying HumorHA! That's a good one, Flyboy. I wish it were that easy, trust me.
Here's a goofy one I found scrolling through FB looking at race car pictures this morning:

TedsOnMeds got a reaction from Klaiber in Seriously dude ...Man that's cool. I am a min-gear aficionado myself but can appreciate an interesting cockpit build any day!
In another life, were I to have infinite money, a Full room scale FRASCA would be on up there on my priority list for sure 🤤

TedsOnMeds got a reaction from Klaiber in Last Mig-15 still in serviceOh totally, that has to be a super important aspect. I can't imagine having to run a team that finds topics and pumps out videos to an audience on that scale that frequently. Stuff is bound to fall through the cracks, surely.
I think a lot of the Military Vehicle Enthusiast community falls for Woozle effect, too. Somebody says a thing, writes an article or a video on it, then that article/video gets cited as a source and nobody can actually substantiate or prove the claim until it's just seen as a truism or common-knowledge fact. It's how you end up with the "Four Sherman's to kill a Tiger" myth and "The T-34 was the first tank with sloped armor!" and the "AK can keep running full auto while CAKED in mud!" and things of that nature. I feel like everybody's fallen for that at some point, including people on the research teams for these big channels.

TedsOnMeds got a reaction from Klaiber in Last Mig-15 still in serviceCool that so many MiG designs are still in service.
I'm glad Felton's videos popularize military history in bite sized chunks;
I, too, am not fond of his propensity for spreading rumors/perpetuating wartime myths about espionage, combat effectiveness of certain vehicles, etc.

TedsOnMeds got a reaction from Lee in MSFS 2020So once everybody's all setup, maybe we can coordinate some similar types/routings of aircraft and do "virtual fly-ins" to specific locations, maybe? Doing some loose non official low maintenance flying events in a civ sim seems like an awesome way to have a chat night when we're not working on combat related stuff!

TedsOnMeds got a reaction from Snaggle in VR-Wave SaleWonderful, I had my prescription updated for my contacts a month or two ago, so I Figure getting a pair of these will last me longer and cost less than a 6-month supply box of 1-week wear contacts, which are getting into the high 100 low 200 dollar mark now.
I'll go ahead and order some and try it.

TedsOnMeds reacted to Snaggle in VR-Wave SaleTed,
Love them, yes I have been using these for my G2 for a few months. Vonrd has them also, and if I remember correctly he loves his also.
-
TedsOnMeds got a reaction from Snaggle in VR-Wave SaleI've been wearing contacts under my VR for awhile; Snag, have you used these Prescription lenses and are they decently functional? Might be good to snag a pair for longer sessions so my eyes don't dry out.

TedsOnMeds got a reaction from Vonrd in PC Is Kaput - Looking for adviceSo I woke up this morning and tried resetting the CMOS battery/bios again and this time it would actually flash to bios for me.
Notably, unplugging my USB hub may have also helper somhow? That is the only other change I made today
Ill have to see what I can do from here. New bios update flash and default settings May help.
Update 1: Bios flash seemed to at least get me to the point the computer will now actually boot in fully. Now to see if I can get to recognize a GPU is the next step. But worst case scenario I at least have a functioning PC again
thanks for all the help everybody!!!

TedsOnMeds got a reaction from Lee in PC Is Kaput - Looking for advicePSU is about 300 watts over power demand and I dmm tested the pins for several of the components m with no bad grounds and specified voltage being delivered. Granted; with the failure it probably won't be loaded very hard but it doesn't appear to be PSU related
