Lipfert Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Here's a rarity. I hope its been apparent that I have a huge musical taste. haha Speaking of Dick Dale ( I love surf guitar), I have been listening to The Bambi Molesters from Croatia ( I know, weird or what ). Is embedding broken? Quote

Is embedding broken? https://youtube/oMCyxdawQig?list=PLpMbgAtXMrb1SevDIjVHAXYZojTqvxQhZ Think its because it has the period. Removing the period didn't help.. Quote
Klaiber Posted November 19, 2015 Author Report Posted November 19, 2015 You have to use the URL at the top of the page in order for the video to be recognized. The shortened "youtu.be" links won't work as an embedded video. https://youtu.be/n1zi19yeH8I Hope that helps! Quote
Klaiber Posted November 19, 2015 Author Report Posted November 19, 2015 PS: The Bambi Molesters are awesome! Quote
Klaiber Posted November 19, 2015 Author Report Posted November 19, 2015 For me - I've been listening to a lot of Stoner Rock and Neo-Psychedelia. They're mostly European bands, with the majority coming from Sweden. I could list a page worth of great hardly known bands that all sound like they're from 1975. But here are two: Spiders: Graveyard: Actually going to see them both in January. Quote
Hett Posted November 19, 2015 Report Posted November 19, 2015 Learning to play guitar lately so been dredging up some of my old favorites: Blank World reminded me of this: Gmm not sure how to get the actual video like you guys are.... Quote
Klaiber Posted November 19, 2015 Author Report Posted November 19, 2015 Fixed it for you. If the youtube URL shows up as a blue clickable link, you have to "unlink" using the button. Once it's no longer a link, the forum will then recognize it as a video needing to be shown. The Sisters of Mercy are great. "Temple of Love", "This Corrosion", "Under the Gun" and "More" have always been favorites of mine. Hett 1 Quote
Zerfass Posted November 19, 2015 Report Posted November 19, 2015 How about this? Copy the top URL, thats how. Quote

Klaiber Posted January 8, 2016 Author Report Posted January 8, 2016 Nice Thomas! I'm not that familiar with Johann Strauss the Elder. But I love his son's work. I know it's a common choice, but An der schönen blauen Donau (The Blue Danube Waltz) is one of my favorites. Thomas 1 Quote
J5_Hotlead Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 That was impressive to watch! The orchestra was amazing and the setting was very cool (I've always loved old world architecture). Thanks for sharing! Quote
Thomas Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Yes, An der schönen blauen Donau is one of my favorite too. By the way, river Danube flows through Bratislava too, but nowadays it is not blue at all... Klaiber 1 Quote
J5_Hotlead Posted January 18, 2016 Report Posted January 18, 2016 Here's one by Celtic Thunder I really like: Klaiber and Greif 2 Quote
J5_Hotlead Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 I've always loved this song by John Denver: Greif and Snaggle 2 Quote
Klaiber Posted March 11, 2016 Author Report Posted March 11, 2016 Beautiful video Hotlead! Have a lot of good memories of John Denver. For me, I've been listening to a band called Witch: Quote
Klaiber Posted March 11, 2016 Author Report Posted March 11, 2016 And for something completely different: Pilence Pee: Which was used as a sample for VAST's song Touched: Quote
Klaiber Posted September 19, 2016 Author Report Posted September 19, 2016 Thought I'd revive this thread. Here's what I'm listening to today: Karl Spackler 1 Quote
Karl Spackler Posted September 21, 2016 Report Posted September 21, 2016 Especially for the guitar nerds... One of the coolest videos I've seen in a long time: The second single probably: Also AAL: Quote
Klaiber Posted September 21, 2016 Author Report Posted September 21, 2016 Periphery reminds me a lot of harder-edged Coheed and Cambria. I like them a lot! I really like Animals as Leaders too. I've never heard of them, but the bass player is sick. I've also been listening to Ty Segall's album Manipulator: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnMCqI199pE And Baroness: Quote
J5_Hotlead Posted September 23, 2016 Report Posted September 23, 2016 I have a couple songs playing around in my head right now. Billy Joel Klaiber 1 Quote
