Cool! Thanks for sharing; might have to give that a listen!

Here's a rarity.

I hope its been apparent that I have a huge musical taste. haha

Speaking of Dick Dale ( I love surf guitar), I have been listening to The Bambi Molesters from Croatia ( I know, weird or what ). Is embedding broken?

Think its because it has the period. Removing the period didn't help..

You have to use the URL at the top of the page in order for the video to be recognized.

The shortened "youtu.be" links won't work as an embedded video.

Hope that helps!

PS: The Bambi Molesters are awesome!

For me - I've been listening to a lot of Stoner Rock and Neo-Psychedelia.  They're mostly European bands, with the majority coming from Sweden.

I could list a page worth of great hardly known bands that all sound like they're from 1975.  But here are two:

Spiders:

Graveyard:

Actually going to see them both in January.

Learning to play guitar lately so been dredging up some of my old favorites:  Blank World reminded me of this:

Gmm not sure how to get the actual video like you guys are....

Fixed it for you.  If the youtube URL shows up as a blue clickable link, you have to "unlink" using the button.

Once it's no longer a link, the forum will then recognize it as a video needing to be shown.

The Sisters of Mercy are great.  "Temple of Love", "This Corrosion", "Under the Gun" and "More" have always been favorites of mine.

How about this?

Copy the top URL, thats how.

That's a bingo !

Stellar Kart:

The Afters:

Nice Thomas!  I'm not that familiar with Johann Strauss the Elder.  But I love his son's work.  I know it's a common choice, but An der schönen blauen Donau (The Blue Danube Waltz) is one of my favorites.

That was impressive to watch! The orchestra was amazing and the setting was very cool (I've always loved old world architecture). Thanks for sharing!

Yes, An der schönen blauen Donau is one of my favorite too. By the way, river Danube flows through Bratislava too, but nowadays it is not blue at all...

Here's one by Celtic Thunder I really like:

I've always loved this song by John Denver:

Beautiful video Hotlead!

Have a lot of good memories of John Denver.

For me, I've been listening to a band called Witch:

And for something completely different:

Pilence Pee:

Which was used as a sample for VAST's song Touched:

Thought I'd revive this thread.

Here's what I'm listening to today:

Especially for the guitar nerds... One of the coolest videos I've seen in a long time:

The second single probably:

Also AAL:

Periphery reminds me a lot of harder-edged Coheed and Cambria.  I like them a lot!

I really like Animals as Leaders too.  I've never heard of them, but the bass player is sick.

I've also been listening to Ty Segall's album Manipulator:

And Baroness:

And Ghost too:

I have a couple songs playing around in my head right now.
