Well I can tell you firsthand that going from 30 to 7 people on an R&D team is pretty fkn devastating.

I mean c'mon let's be real they're a 3rd party flight sim developer. They don't have a lot of places to go (DCS and MSFS), so they better work it out. Those communities are bit but not that big.

To be clear, my only justification was an absolute lack of willpower, restraint, judgement and fiscal responsibility.

It works, but you need to play with the movement rates to get it where you want it otherwise it will seem sluggish. Also positioning seems to be very important. I had mine too low (the bottom bezel of my monitor) and was sometimes blocked by my keyboard. Small issues and easily remedied with adjustments. Nothing is a VR killer unless you like all your landings looking like trash in comparison.

Every IRL army heli pilot on YouTube (thinking particularly of Casmo here and I'm sure Snaggle has said the same), says that the vortex ring state (settling with power) aka VRS as depicted in DCS is wildly overblown as to how easy it is to induce. Helicopters aren't anywhere near as bad as it seems. Hopefully ED is working on taming it. I personally think they have with the Hind, and they just need to back-engineer that into the previous models.

You're an incredible helicopter pilot. Yuge. Everybody says so.

In Star CItizen I find myself struggling to find use for the collective and throttle axes in a way that makes sense for me, but the additional hats are indispensible when coupled with my Warthog stick and throttle.

The peer pressure is mostly applied by just me. Now I have company.

The Virpil collective is amazing. As a virtual helicopter pilot my flying (which was already fantastic) is now amazing. My skin has cleared up. I traded up to a hotter trophy wife. I have fat stacks of cash, and celebrities are asking me how I make life look so easy.

What the heck? You should not need any 3rd party applications for this. All you need is to map the VR center button in DCS - the General category. Also, go through and category delete the view buttons for every controller you have for every module you have. DCS auto detects and maps these to every controller. Get rid of all that.
