I havent. Worked on a radar fire control system in. Many years.  That being said. While valid during. The 60"s. And 70"s. And against radar guided missiles,  i think with todays processing power. It would not work. Against. The latest radar tech.  The range being short,   ir or laser guided. Would be used,  and the ground vs an engine. Would not be fooled. The abscence of radar controlled AA. Oh well,  didn"t the serbs. Use that very effectively ?  Those would have been,  on the canyor floor. Anyways.  Watched it. And. I liked it.  I. Would say.  Better than the first. Or as good.

Yep, same here.

Jennifer Connelly is not truly old enough to be Penny though.  She would have been 15 or 16 at the time of Top Gun so the fact he had buzzed here prior to that time would have made her even younger.

 

I happened to like Top Gun Maverick better than the original Top Gun. It pushed all the right nostalgia buttons for me and had enough new content to stand on its own merit.
