Hotlead, The MFG's for sure, beside TrackIR the best money I have spent. S!

S! Using custom shaders in RoF, got Hotlead setup aswell and I think it improved spotting. Using VR for BoS,M,K and it's tough, one of the reasons I'm flying bombers right now. Lipfert

Kameraden, I'm looking forward to this build, it's probably best to do a complete review of controls and setting since we are looking at a new DX11 version with many updates. At this point, I tend to create custom maps between the aircraft to deal with the subtle differences. Visibility is still a key for me and I know JG4_Karaya has shaders working, will be reviewing what he has done. S!

Kameraden, I think during the Christmas break I'm going to retire my Win 7 OS and do a fresh install of Win 10. Presently some of the Oculus Applications require Windows 10 and this is probably going to hold me back. I do have bigger plans with new office layout (big cleanup needed) and next generation computer being built. This will happen in the new year and will be a WIP for awhile. All that being said, VR is here to stay and although we live with some present limitations associated with the equipment but it will only get better going forward. S!

Vonrd, Go with a fresh Win10 install, Win7 will be EOL before you know it. Also, I think the 850W PSU might be a bit on the low side. Not a bad idea to get a storage HDD aswell. S!

I have put shadows back to "High". Also of note is the pilot "VR Zoom" added in controls, I just used my regular zoom command from button mapping. Grass is set to normal. It is quite a process getting everything running. 1, Disable any extra applications. 2, Start TARGET and confirm Joystick configuration. 3, Start SPAD.Next for gear lever. 4, Start Voice Attack for all the keyboard commands not mapped to the HOTAS. 5, Start Oculus Tray Tool. 6, Start Oculus Software. 7, Start IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad, Moscow and Kuban.
