Kameraden, I am not getting the performance I expected, perhaps I'm missing something using Thrud's blog. I do notice some inconsistent messaging regarding settings. It might be related to forcing DX11 mode for DCS. More experimenting tonight. S!

I'm also using DCS Updater / Launcher GUI Utility by Skate Zilla. Right now DCS video settings are default VR button. nVidia control panel is all default except Max Performance and Max Framerate. Running my video card fans at 100% while in game.

I am using the Beta version of SteamVR.

Kameraden, Here is my solution for the G2 cable getting caught on the back of my chair. Counter Weight 200g from Studioform Creative VR https://www.studioformcreative.com/reverb-g2 Kiwi Design Silent Cable Management Pulley system https://www.kiwidesign.shop/products/v2-kiwi-design-management-retractable-vr-accessories I've also cleaned up the cables that were on the floor with cable track on the baseboards. Kameraden, The cable on this unit is much longer and heavier that my Oculus unit. I picked up a ceiling suspension system as it was driving me mad catching on my seat. Hope this fixes the issue as it's pretty annoying. I picked up the Kiwi Design Silent VR cable management system, it means mounting it above myself but right now it's a big problem catching on my chair. Back to reading more to fine tune in DCS. S!

Kameraden, Here is what I built as a second system, lucky that my EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW was fine. I haven't really taken a deep dive onto the system that failed, it's old and doesn't owe me anything. Case Lian Li Lancool II Mesh (best case I've ever worked with), replaced the stock fans with Lian Li SL120's and Lian Li Galahad 240 RGB AIO (not in the picture). Tech note, LED reading lights are the bomb for this type of work. Seasonic Focus 80+ Gold, GX-850 watt modular PSU Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite, with 500GB & 1TB Gigabyte Aorus NVMe Gen 4 M.2 SSD with solid copper heat sinks & Ryzen 7 5800X processor. G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 3600 32GB RAM Enabled LED's on the EVGA GTX 1080 TI FTW and programmed it to change based on temperature. Green to 30-60, Orange for 60-70 & Red if it hits 80 degrees. Turns Red when it closes in on 80 degrees. Need to clean up the wiring and need a better UPS, went with a standup for the second system since it fit and I'm tired of sitting down all the time.
