Kameraden, Jaus and I made good progress testing last night. Running the FC1 Hunt Mission in a DVa I'm able to maintain 90FPS without reprojection on. I'll export the graphs from fpsVR and confirm. Been making minor tweaks based on the settings above, leaving Sharpen Off and AA at x2 for now. S!

Jaus, I'm using the OpenXR Runtime on the Steam VR Settings > Developer tab. I've left OpenXR Developer Tools Motion Reprojection Disabled at the moment (I think). S!

Kameraden, For whatever reason, this patch messed up my VR Settings which had been running smoothly with my G2 Reverb. If I don't use HDR the game is very dark, could always counter with Gamma but for right now I'm using HDR. I've disabled Bloom in the startup.cfg I'm also experimenting with Sharpen versus MSAA x2, right now I'm using either or but not both. Preset: Ultra Screen resolution: 1280x768 UI Scale: 100% Shadows quality: Off Mirrors: Simple Distant landscape detail: x4 Canopy reflections: Off Horizontal draw distance: 150km Landscape filter: Blurred Terrain roughness: Low Grass quality: Normal Clouds quality: High Antialiasing type: MSAA Target FPS: Off Dynamic resolution: Full Antialiasing: either 2x if Sharpen is unchecked or Off is Sharpen is On (results pending). Gamma correction: 0.8 Enable VR HMD: Checked HDR: Checked Sharpen: either unchecked if Antialiasing is at 2x or Checked if AA is Off Use 4K textures: Checked Distant buildings: Checked I have Reprojection Off in Steam VR per game (il2 Sturmovik Great Battles added) graphics settings and SuperSampling on, 100% resolution (running the global tab at 50% resolution). I am not forcing DX11. Mild overclock on my GTX 3090 (not using even half the video memory). Getting between 80-90 fps solid. Using V0.2exp of VRNS and it's working. S!

OpenXR Developer Tools for when I'm trying the other Motion Smoothing. S!

Jaus, I have all the app's, but I run WMR, then SteamVR (Beta) & VRNS. Right now I'm using Motion Smoothing with the Per Game Settings in SteamVR. I run fpsVR in game to see how the video card is performing for a specific game. S!

Jaus, The important part is not to double up the smoothing, make sure you are using one method. I'm testing between Microsoft and Steam smoothing at the moment. S!

Jaus, Last night I mentioned testing and incorrectly identified Windows Mixed Reality OpenXR Runtime. This is the utility that does smoothing in Windows Mixed Reality instead of Steam VR. If you'd like to walk through the G2 settings and do some testing I'm good anytime. S!

Bloom is a graphic setting that refers to the effect of natural light, swaying/moving trees, plants, flowers, and etc. It makes the world seem more "alive", as players call it. High Quality Bloom is just Bloom tweaked to a level that seems more realistic. S!
