Klaiber

Because of lip-reading video, and the song that's sung at the end, I re-stumbled onto the We're Here Because We're Here memorial project from 1 July 2016: https://becausewearehere.co.uk It's a very moving 100th anniversary tribute to the 19,240 British and Commonwealth soldiers who died on the first day of the Battle of the Somme. I definitely encourage people to look through the website and check out the images and videos.

Hi ZAVAR, Welcome! You're all set for the Blue Team. When you login next, you should have access to the Blue Team area. As I mentioned to Shtahel above, the Blue Team uses the Jasta 5 TeamSpeak. Here is a link to the tournament calendar: http://forum.jg1.org/topic/3010-flanders-in-flames-calendar/ Missions are on Saturdays at 2PM EDT / 6PM UTC. On mission days, we recommend that everyone arrive about 15 to 20 minutes early. The server password is passed out via TeamSpeak. Should you have any questions, just let me know.

Saw this on youtube, and was fascinated by the attempt to give voice to soldiers from the First World War.

I'm a big fan of the Titanic: Honor and Glory project. They recently posted this video regarding the Memphis Belle, and I thought you all would be interested:

Hi Roxmate, Welcome! I'll send you an email, to the account that you used to register to the boards. Looking forward to talking more.

Hi Shtahel, Sorry for only getting to this now. You're cleared for the Blue Team. You should now have access to the Blue Team's area. The TeamSpeak they use is Jasta 5's. There should be a post with their information. Should you have any questions, just let me know. Welcome!

Very nice sortie!

Thanks Game!

That's odd. The squad is definitely there, just not visible in the current Tour.

Hi Hook, Welcome! I'll send you an email to the address you registered with. Let me know if you don't get it. Talk more soon!

Snaggle's pilot had a successful first sortie. Then he switched to a gunner for the second sortie, and lived. And then died as a pilot in the third sortie.

Cool! I'll check this out!

Very nice! Looking forward to your follow ups.

Hi Rossco, sorry for only seeing this now. You're cleared for the Blue Team. Check with the other J2 pilots for the Blue Team teamspeak and mission times. Welcome!

Great work Geezer! Can't wait to see the next chapter.

I restarted it earlier today. Hopefully it wasn't a problem.

This looks really sweet Barton!

Still love that video.

Hi All, Eagle Dynamics is currently running a sale on all their WW2 stuff: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3476473&postcount=140 DCS: P-51D Mustang DCS: Spitfire LF Mk. IX DCS: Bf 109 K-4 Kurfurst DCS: Fw 190 D-9 Dora DCS: Normandy 1944 Map DCS: WWII Assets Pack The sale starts today and goes to Monday, May 14th. I personally use the Normandy 1944 map and some of the WWII assets for an alternate MiG-15bis / F-86F training map. So those might be things to check out if you don't already have them.

Excellent!

It's great to have you with us Schafer! I'm in the same boat regarding FIF. It's hard for me to make Saturdays, so I haven't been able to fly the event. But I'm hoping... someday.

Hi Shade, you weren't getting the messages, so I've just turned it on in your account. You should get them now. If anyone else isn't getting the FIF emails, and would like to, just let me know.
