  2. Yeah, that's exactly what I did. I still have 1.5 through TrackIR. But with these new settings, 2.1 works really well with my Oculus. Had a blast flying around in the MiG-15 last night in an instant mission.
  3. Got it set up in 2.1. Works really well. His settings actually solved a lot of the issues I was having.
  4. Really good info. I'll give this a shot in 2.1.!

  8. JG1's TS works again.
  9. Or about to be.
  10. Hi Oorpii, I'm sorry that I'm just seeing this now. I was AFK for the day. You're now registered to the Blue Team. When you log in to the JG1 forums again, you should see the Blue Team sections of the boards. The Blue Team uses J5's teamspeak. The information is posted in the Blue Team section. However, if you can't find it, just let me know and I'll PM it to you. It's recommended that you arrive to missions about 30 to 15 minutes early. This is so you can get your assignments, as well as the server password. Should you need anything, just let me know. Welcome!
  11. Hi All, As many of you were aware, during the October 21st mission of FIF, we had significant lag issues which forced us to postpone the start of the "Fall Campaign." Butzzell is convinced that it was map related. We may have crossed a line with the total number of airbases and the types of planes available. On Thursday night, a new modified map was stress tested with about 20 people. They popped flares, dropped bombs and shot everything up. It went well. And while some people said they saw a jitter or two, there is nothing to indicate that there will be any issues with using this revised map. As a result, the "Fall Campaign" is going to restart this Saturday, October 28th at 2PM EDT / 6PM UTC. We hope to see you there! If anyone has any concerns, just let us know. We're happy to help. See you in the skies over France! -Klaiber
  12. That's extremely impressive. People who are able to create this type of stuff amaze me. Between the carpentry and mechanical knowledge and electronics.
  13. We're a go for this Saturday. The new map was stress tested on Thursday with 20 people, and appears to have taken the load. People mentioned a few small hiccups, but nothing significant. See you this Saturday!
  14. Wow, this is pretty amazing.
  15. That's awesome!
  16. Hi Furlow, You're all set for the Red Team. You should now see that section on the JG1 forums. Let me know if you have any issues. Looking forward to flying with you!
  17. Hi Andrew, You're all set for the Blue Team! Welcome!
  18. They used to pop up. But maybe they don't anymore. It's been a while since I've been able to fly RoF.
  19. Hi Etzel, Exactly. Secondary Targets are those that are activated after Primaries have been completed. And in the case of "targets of opportunity" that any aircraft can bomb or strafe, we're talking specifically about stationary vehicles or stationary ships... http://forum.jg1.org/topic/5232-fif-2017-fall-campaign-objectives/?do=findComment&comment=32868 ...and moving targets of opportunity... http://forum.jg1.org/topic/5232-fif-2017-fall-campaign-objectives/?do=findComment&comment=32871 ...and anything that says it's open to all aircraft to attack, like the HQ attack: http://forum.jg1.org/topic/5232-fif-2017-fall-campaign-objectives/?do=findComment&comment=32870 Any aircraft can bomb or strafe these targets of opportunity. It doesn't have to be attacked by the same person who triggered it. Attacking these targets will give your team points. So you want to make sure to knock out as many as possible. I may have forgotten something here, but I'm running out the door. Let me know if I've missed something.
  20. Hi Etzel, The Rise of Flight game will not allow us to inforce an in-game refly penalty. As a result, pilots are asked to act in good faith and manually take 5 minutes. If you land or crash in Friendly territory, take 5. If you disco (regardless of where you were), take 5. I often fly with my iPhone near me, and use the stop watch to make sure I'm taking enough time. After each mission night, I'll go through the statistics in order to prepare the scores. When I do this, I'll always go through stats and check refly times. If I catch someone abusing the refly times, I'll contact them directly and ask them not to do this. FIF is based on trust and good will, so I take this type of rules violation seriously. Regarding your question on Friendly Territory or Enemy Territory, the server knows if you're captured. It will usually tell you in the Chat window. And in the in-game statistics. And it will show up on the server stats page. For example, Butzzell in this sortie is listed as "crashed captured". http://fif.jg1.org/sortie/15920/ If you land in Friendly Territory, and you're no where near No Man's Land, there is no reason to take a screenshot. You know you're okay. And if you land in Enemy Territory, and you're no where near No Man's Land, there is also no reason to take a screenshot. You know you're a POW. The game will not kick you, nor will it prevent you from reflying. You must manually remove yourself from the game. Or, become a tail-gunner. Again, I check the stats, and will catch anyone who reflies after death. Only take a screenshot of the in-game map if you land near or on No Man's Land. And again, only do this if you're not sure of your fate. Then tell your Flight Lead or Team Commander as soon as possible. And ask for instructions. Hope this helps!
  21. Hi Etzel, The Odd Map is flown during odd mission weeks (i.e. Week A1, Week A3, Week B1, and Week B3). And the Even Map is flown on even mission weeks (i.e. Week A2, Week A4, Week B2 and Week B4). You can see this progression in the Fall Campaign's schedule. Hope this helps!
  22. Hi Bardamu, You're still registered on the Blue Team. Looking forward to seeing you in the air on Saturday. Let me know if you have any questions. Happy to help.
  23. Hi Etzel, You're all set for the Red Team. When you refresh or login next, you should see the Red Team area. The Red Team uses JG1's TeamSpeak. Make sure to jump on around 15 minutes prior to mission start in order to get the server password, as well as get mission assignments and the like. Looking forward to flying with you!
  24. Hi Nader, You should be set for the Blue Team. Let me know if you have any access problems.
