II./JG1 has it's own awards. http://forum.jg1.org/topic/2311-iijg-1-oesau-atag-campaign/ But those awards need an active tournament for them to be earned. Storm of War doesn't count, because it's not a dead-is-dead event. But Ghost Skies will when it restarts.

For anyone who's ever been curious about what exactly a "German Army Report" is supposed to be, it's basically our fictionalized "First World War" version of a Wehrmachtbericht. What's a Wehrmachtbericht? During the Second World War, the German military would send out daily radio reports called Wehrmachtberichte. And these would inform the public about the state of fighting on all fronts. Basically, it's a form of propaganda. So, to have your unit, or your personal name, mentioned in one of these radio reports was considered a high honor. Hence the merit award. Our WW1 "German Army Report" also takes some inspiration from the British MiDs (mentioned in dispatches), which is where your name would be published, and you would receive a small certificate for your gallant or meritorious action. Hence, the image above.

My visit to Duxford (IWM) and proto modern JG1 (actually JG71)
Klaiber replied to Zerfass's topic in Public Discussion
Hi Zerfass, that's too bad. But it sounds like you had an amazing trip to the Imperial War Museum, and to Wittmund. -
Sure, I'll PM you on this board.
-
Hi Rifleman, Thanks for checking us out. I'll drop you an email later tonight. Talk more soon!

Haha. I love it because it's art deco, yet flyable. It reminds me of something out of a 1930s Flash Gordon serial. I do wonder about landing, though. Must be impossible to see where you're going before the nose comes down.

It is a thing of beauty though.

Wags has already posted some updates to the changelog. Check the original link for details: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=147601 The big ones for us appear to be: MiG-15bis Available load factor was reduced for some altitude bands, this has made closer to official documents Fixed logic of the ARC-5 NDB switches Fixed stick shake during takeoff View adjustment speed was increased Increased performance reduction with damaged stabilizer Added step throttle control Additionally, they won't be building 32-bit binaries anymore. The users of 32-bit systems will stop getting the updates. Steam users will have to switch to a special 'beta' to keep using 32-bit DCS (locked at 1.2.16).

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=147601 This means that 1.5 is imminent.

Yeah, Overwolf is awful. It can cause significant frame rate drops, as well as just be a resource hog in general.
