Every session? Going to need a test director to read me these steps during preflight.
-
Going to need to do this when I get home, for sure!

I misread it, I thought they were destroyed by firing them into the lake.
-
An interesting method of destruction.

It's funny to see those guys trying to warm up their tires on the dirt during the pace car laps, I don't think it does what they think it does on the asphalt.

Photobucket no longer allowing 3rd party hosting on free accounts
Britchot replied to Lee's topic in Public Discussion
Photobucket used to be my go-to, I'm disappointed by this monetization move but they've been in the crapper for many years. I'm surprised they haven't gone completely under yet. -
Welcome to JG1's forums, Lou. Due to the holiday weekend our CO is away but expect to hear more via email and this thread in the next couple of days.

That is a fantastic display, had to have been a blast to witness.

Got it, purchases!

Okay, where is the download for the launcher? I wiped my PC and I can't find the link. Thanks

I tried "Men of War: Assault Squad 2" a while back for most of the same reasons. I loved Close Combat back in the '90s and was looking for a modern version of that game. Assault Squad isn't quite the same. I only played it about 5 hours, Because I felt that you have to micromanage your troops a lot and you capture flags as you go. I didn't really give it a fair shot but the graphics were great. Take a look but don't take this as a full recommendation.

I was drooling over the Ju-52, myself.

I like how you checked your pants after getting the congratulatory love tap from the green car

Yeah, I'm almost as jealous of him as I am of the pilots themselves

Those two planes are so beautiful to see flying!

I didn't get the impression he's leaving it, just waiting for the tournaments to come around since the public servers are pretty dead during west coast prime times.

I've been eyeing iRacing for the last 4 years and since I'm getting Oculus soon, I figured I would revisit iRacing. Perhaps after my upcoming summer "vacation" I'll have some additional disposable income for a wheel and pedals

All that detail is impressive and can easily lead itself to a campaign setting.

Congratulations to all, and heartfelt gratitude in your efforts to persuade the unit to adapt to the Battle of Stalingrad series of games. Thank you.

Starting a "fortnightly" Twitch stream! :)
Britchot replied to J5_Hotlead's topic in JG1 Videos & Screen Caps
I haven't had the chance to watch your clip yet but I know I've got plans for a webcam, simply because I want to be able to interact with my viewers more. I feel the chat alone is not enough. I'll be adding it after my trip, I believe. However, I may take part of my rig with me (sans flight controls) and start that early. Hotel internet dependent. -

I've been avoiding replaying any videos due to copyright issues for the music I keep on the background. However, I'll go twitch no-rights music for the next undermining trip with Klaiber and Trev so I can store it. I guess I'll have to figured out how to do that first, though -

Looks very nice, Hotlead, followed. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery and I'll take it Although it's almost all been Elite Dangerous since I started, I will also stream CloD (now that I know how) and BoS whenever I'm flying public servers. I've learned some neat tricks with splash pages for those times I step away from JG4_Karaya's OBS Tutorial. I need to set hotkeys to mute the audio as well as throw up notifications that I'm temporarily away from the keyboard instead of cutting off the stream all together. I'll keep an eye out for you and your Circus if I'm not actively flying! -
Reminds me of the Collings Foundation's TP-51C. Sure it looks goofy but it would be awesome to go for a flight in one. Racking up the hours to be allowed the privlege to fly one solo is far out of most people's price range. Although $2.2k is already a little steep for me. http://www.collingsfoundation.org/aircrafts/north-american-tp-51c-mustang/
