Thanks for bringing this up @US103_Baer! Personally, my schedule has gotten to the point where Thursday nights are difficult for me to attend, so I’ve been out of it for a bit. I appreciate you guys keeping it going while I’ve been gone! As far as my thoughts go, alternating between JG1 and J5’s server gives some variation and involves the greater community. I think it’s a good move. But, this leaves out early war scenarios on Cuban’s server. Right now, FiF is filling that early war niche, but once that’s done, I think doing early war every once & awhile on Cuban’s could be fun. Maybe not run one life to live stats that mission? I definitely think that we should focus on Flying Circus for the majority though. Multiplayer needs a shot in the arm and I wonder if we don’t prove interest, 1C/777 may forestall creating a volume 2. I would love to hear the rest of JG1’s thoughts! None of these decisions are set in stone. This event has stayed alive since 2017 precisely because of our ability to be flexible and adapt.

I too will be unable to make it this week, but I eagerly anticipate flying FiF next week. It will be my first time back in FiF after a year and a half, so yeah...super looking forward to it!

...Ok, so my mind is blown. This is a MUST SEE for me in the theaters! Here’s to hoping it lives up to the hype! Have any of you guys heard of this?

That’s awesome Klai. To be honest, I think Luft’s helped all of us out in turn. I can think of quite a few instances where he’s been there for me at any rate. Ok, I have to rant (positively) a bit: JG1 truly is an awesome squad, and it totally transcends the “online gaming clan” stereotype so often associates with groups like this. Thank you to Klaiber and Britchot for cultivating an attitude of caring personally for (and building friendships with) members within our squad. And thank you to the members who continue to make this organization the premiere group to be a part of! Today I was reminded again how grateful I am to share the virtual skies with you all. [/endrant] I look forward to seeing you in the skies sooner than anticipated Luft! We definitely need you up there to undo all the hard work Enente mechanics put in repairing the bullet holes from your last outing.

Salute gents! Here is the German livestream from last Thursday: Last Thursday was a fun night! Our numbers, while still not up to full strength, were higher than expected, especially with a new recruit joining us. Please join me in welcoming Jasta 11's newest flieger, Herr @Von_Webber! It was my pleasure to fly with him, and I think I can safely say that in time he will be a competent flight member. He already impressed me by spotting a low-flying Bristol that I totally missed, and then proceeded to assist in its destruction. Since I didn't have a good idea of who would show up for us, JG1 also played pretty conservatively for the evening. After receiving a panicked telephone call from the foreman at one of our local aircraft production facilities, (why our engineers built the factory so close to the front lines baffles me to this day ) the Circus scrambled to rescue it from impending doom from Allied bombers. We actually ended up saving the facility from being shut down for as long as we were on station. Also, we didn't end up losing any of our valuable fliegers. And let's not forget J30 and J5_Karl Loppnow for accomplishing all the offensive objectives in fine fashion as well! All in all, a good night with objectives defended and enemy aircraft shot down. But you know what? The most special part of the night to me was the shared camaraderie of our small community, whether they were flying Allied or Central. I've said it a lot, but I'll say it again: the players make the game. Thank you to each and every one of you who came out and made it a fun night! Following the fly in, von Webber and I ran some training dogfights on NFF. Then, Dudley and I headed over to Flying Circus to look at...drumroll please...the new Bristol and Halberstadt two-seaters!
