  1. It is a really good overview. Some very good MiG-21 related details.
  2. This video really helped me out today before the MVP dogfight. For people with low to mid end systems using Oculus.
  3. Looks like a lot of fun!
  4. Wow...
  5. @Vonrd - here is another former JG-1 MiG-21 for you. http://forgottenjets.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/Fishbed.html It's currently a static display, painted in a red livery with Flugservice Sömmerda markings.
  6. Here are some MiG-21s of Jagdbombenfliegergeschwader 37 "Klement Gottwald" (JBG-37). They didn't official fly the MiG-21, as far as I know. So these must have been late transfers from other units, probably for decommissioning. This is all 1990. There are some very interesting markings on some of the aircraft.
  7. Regarding this guy, here are official details on it: East Germany MiG-21MF c/n 968615 s/n 510 *11/1973: Delivered to the East German AF. *JG-9. *JG-3. *JG-1. *Absorbed into the unified German AF. *Recoded as 23+15. *10/1990: Withdrawn from use at Drewitz AB. *11/1992: Salvaged in Dresden. http://forgottenjets.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/Fishbed.html So, it's former '510 Red.' For this one, I actually found a pre re-paint photo! https://www.airhistory.net/photo/223773/510
  8. @Vonrd, regarding the white MiG-21, here is official details on it: East Germany MiG-21SPS-K c/n 946709 s/n 441*1/1968: Delivered to the East German AF. *1975: JG-1. *1990: Absorbed into the unified German AF. *Recoded as 22+02. *10/1990: Withdrawn from use at Drewitz AB. *11/1992: Salvaged at Drewitz AB. http://forgottenjets.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/Fishbed.html Originally, it probably looked something similar to this MiG-21SPS/K: https://www.airliners.net/photo/East-Germany-Air-Force/Mikoyan-Gurevich-MiG-21SPS-K/1772120/L
  9. Love this paint. This is JG-1 (ex. 441).
  10. Looks amazing, Vonrd! I'm going to hold off on downloading until you fix the markings you were reworking.
  11. Hi Davjack, The FIF campaign has been postponed due to the current war in Ukraine. It will probably happen after Bloody April. So, late Spring at the earliest. However, @Vonrd will add you to the master list of participants. And I'll flip your access on Discord.
  12. I found this version, which I can see in the US. It's probably a copyright thing.
  13. Unfortunately, that video is not available to view in my country. What's the song and artist?
  14. Pinned.
  15. Mine is also up. There is a logged incident on their website: https://discordstatus.com/#past-incidents
  16. Amazing as always @Vonrd!
  17. I've always wanted to try out a curved monitor. But they've traditionally been so expensive. With VR, it's kind of been pushed off a bit. But I may indulge next time I upgrade my computer.
  18. Hi @Bummer! It's great to hear from you! Thanks so much for stopping by to say hi. I don't think we ever flew together, but I was involved in RB3D circa 2000 to 2002. Some of our members go back even further, so they may remember your former squadrons. Are you still in contact with anyone from that era?
  19. I'll see if I can catch you today or tomorrow.
  20. Hi Shade, Great to hear from you! I just sent you the address in a private conversation on Discord. Sure, it would be great to talk. I'm going to be hit or miss this weekend, due to real life. But is there a time this coming week that works for you? Do you still have our TS information?
  21. This is awesome footage, Snag. I'm sorry that I'm only just seeing it.
  22. You've heard me say this before, @HotleadColdfeet, but this video is amazing. Truly a thing of beauty that warms the cockles of my heart. Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to create this!
  23. Nicely done, Hess!
