Klaiber

This looks great! Can't wait.

Correction, we're gonna start now (at 6:30PM EDT).

@Schmenkel - @Karl Spackler (Trev) and I are going to be doing some map testing on a new DCS battleground map I'm making. Anyone interested in joining us is welcome. We'll be on JG1 TS around 7:30PM EDT.

Congratulations Barton!

I agree. They'll be a summer sale very soon.

Very nice shot, Barton!

Personally, my advice would be to get DCS World OpenBeta through the DCS website: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/beta/ And not use Steam to buy the modules. Even if there is a discount on Steam. Once you have the download through the DCS website, you can then buy the modules through the DCS website. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/ Steam works great. But anything you buy on Steam must be used through Steam. Additionally, there are sometimes delays from when the module is released to OpenBeta and when it's available to purchase and use through Steam. I'd be interested to hear other people's opinions, however.

This is great news! Very happy to see them add the C-47. And two new FC aircraft! Sweet!

Yeah, it's really a shame that the control manger is no longer updated, as their equipment is great. My CH HOTAS had served me well for many many years.

Great shot! Had fun flying your wing.

This makes my brain hurt.

I was being a bit sarcastic, as their systems look really rudimentary. Being the Air Force, you think they'd have sweet systems, rumble seats, etc. But I guess everyone has a budget.

https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/40620/a-10-warthog-pilots-are-using-the-digital-combat-simulator-video-game-to-train-in-vr Thought this was interesting. Especially for those of us who fly DCS. Here is an attached video, so we can check out the Air Force's sweet rigs.

Wow, that's crazy. So glad there were no injuries.

That's pretty nice. I've been debating about getting a new chair for a while now. Might have to check this out.

I figured you had.

You know it's a good video when the Soviet-era porn music is back.

I have had the mission editor crash on me a few times while working on things. But they're mostly hangs, where I jump from some object to another and the game gives up the ghost. This is a 2.7 issue, as it didn't happen in 2.5. It almost makes me wonder if there is a memory leak. What I would recommend is to deactivate all of your mods (if you have any) through JSGME or OVGME, and then run a full repair of the game. That will at least ensure that there are no errors on that level. And if the game keeps crashing, it'll be because of a game problem. Here's how to repair if you're unfamiliar: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/repair/ After that, I would also delete the contents of the fxo and metashader2 folders in Saved Games. Again just to be safe and ensure that there are no hangs. After that, I'm not sure. I think it becomes a Open Beta issue that they'll have to work out. Sorry I'm not any real help.

Can't remember if I've posted this before, but here you go - Graveyard, live in May 2012, performing The Siren:
