FYI: Eye tracking software is on the horizon, as you still need to turn your head to get a clear view in the sweet spot. I like the line abreast, but in WWI I have a little more time by about 200kts.

Current VR fov is 100-110 degrees vice a person’s fov is 135 horizontal 180 vertical according to one resource. The big thing is tir is unrealistic imo. Instead head turn up to over 180 degrees The bigger issue is tir is an advantage over those using vr unless we use the tatics and procedures that were developed to protect your 6 think flying the Fe2b ðŸ˜

Guys, Ran a quick error check on the database, all appears to be well. Has something else possibly changed, that might be blocking the stats for being connected to?? I won't have any more time except for the 15 minutes I spent now looking into this until this weekend, sorry. Windows updates are ready on the server, to be installed? I didn't do a reboot by the way.

I'm very far sighted and have no issues reading gauges and don't use glasses while wearing VR.

I use the HP Windows Mixed Reality head set. Definitely works with FC not sure on EliteDangerous, but a google search says it does. What I like about it HP WMR is the headsets are inside out tracking, simple to use, nativity to OS screen resolution is slightly higher then others, and finally the cost is just a little over $200 S!

@Lee, I went to the FC directory structure and made a short cut to the .exe so I can skip the launcher. It to me seems much like the launcher in RoF and I did the same in RoF started game directly from the *.exe Launch hangs on shut down for me. S!

I spent about 3 hours with FC this afternoon. I won't get into flight models, realistic or not I'll leave that for those much better at that than me. 1. VR "SWEET", going to have to get a scarf so my neck doesn't chafe from looking around and behind!! 2. I can look around the wings and struts and not loose sight of the enemy, much more natural IMO even with TIR (looks like I will be retiring that as the only game I used it for was RoF) 3. Love the tracers, reminds me of "Flyboys" style tracers. 4. Map always up like that also! 5. Flight said realistic, but I had icons, auto engine management, and a plane on the map? I will have to look at how to turn those off. 6. Bombing worked fine in the Spad but had an aiming reticle? No damage on the ground after a bomb drop? Not sure about that either. 7. Take off and Landing as you wuld expect. 8. In VR as RAZ pointed out the sights were a little wonky. Pleased with this early release from a non-technical stand point. I will no be looking into how stats work, I will be checking the forums as I'm sure it is the same as BOS or BOM. If any one can point me in the right direction please do! S!

IMO: any one that would know it would be Baron! So if all holds true and I can fly in VR, it would be really difficult to not to make the jump to FC. All this talk gets me kind of excited to WW1 again, the main reason for my recent absence. S!
