Actually, can you do LvR's colors but swap yellow for black and put that personal spade forward of the fuselage iron cross. If you can find a cool spot for imperial tri colors stripe that would be great too. Wherever you prefer on fuselage or tail section.

Cleared some stuff from my mailbox. No need for anything. I used the historical DVII Hugo Shafer skin for the snakes and put lozenge on the wings upper surfaces. Your skin is almost done but I'm probably working overtime tonight. Will post it as soon as I get a chance

Requested DR1 skins complete. I also added Luft just because...  . Please allow the zip to overwrite any installed skins since I did some tweaks (changed the lightening and added sunburst to my skin).

 

Any others? Klai? Brit? Mox?

I never got around to making myself a Dr.I skin, so it would be great to have one.

 

I was thinking of basing it's overall layout on the Dr.I of Lt. Hans Joachim Wolff of Jasta 11:

 

 

The only difference would be:

• Double horizontal pink stripes on the fuselage, replacing the yellow, like my Alb D.III
• A pink half tail, sort of like Lt. Rudolf Stark's D.VII
• And Ignatz somewhere on the aircraft.

I was going to try to put him on the upper or middle wing.

Once again proving what a fine fellow are! My best thanks to you, sir. One of these days I'll catch up and figure out from one of you the definitive file to get all of the latest skins from and actually see them (I do think Vonrd posted a pic of an ME-109 skin...thanks!). I must confess I am still lost in summer land and am viewing most of my sunsets and sunrises from the back of a boat.

 

I look forward to rejoining with you all and picking up where I left off when the season winds down up here.

Pink appealed to me mostly because no one else is going to have it.

 

A few changes, if that's okay.

 

Keep everything that you have.  But try adding:

• A pink rudder, behind the black girder cross.
• A thin white boarder around the black fuselage crosses.
• A black or white boarder around the horizontal stripes (so they pop more)
• Pink wheels
• And a completely painted over top wing?  Whatever color you think works.  Red, white, pink, black, etc.

I'd love to get red in there somewhere for the Jasta (maybe on the cowling in the form of a face?), but I agree that it may look weird.
