One other thing that bit me in the behind recently was failing to use the Generate snapshot of Game files option in JSGME. I suspect that OVGME has something similar. Had I been a bright young lad and used this feature before I started messing around with some new mods, while in a hurry, and then forgetting to disable all mods before enabling the new ones which of course borked the install I could have used that option to restore the build back to the earlier snapshot. Live and learn, as always the hard way... Wheels

All Aircraft Simulations which was formerly, quite some time back, All Aircraft Arcade may be gone permanently? For almost a month now I have been getting an Unable to connect error message about the site not being found. Since Deutchmark passed away in May of this year I have been wondering if AAS might just disappear like so many other formerly well trafficked IL-2 sites. The site traffic for the past few years had been practically nil but it is still sad day for me to see it go away. Lots of memories floating around in my mind regarding that place right now. Wheels

I still use JSGME since it came with the HSFX mod for IL-2 1946. It became waaaay more useful when I found out I could save mod profiles which allowed me to switch between different mod packs or maps by loading a saved mod profile. Lol, I finally broke down and read the User Guide manual when I found it which explained that the links in the middle of the page were actually used for something other than to take up space on the page. The Help link in that section times out now since the JoneSoft website where you are being sent has been offline for quite some time. It has been that way since some time before June 14th since that is when I brought it up at the Combat Pilot forums. If you are able to backtrack your updates to find one shortly before that date you would quite likely find that it is the one that broke the module. Wheels

Just watched Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire a couple of nights ago. IMDb has it rated at 6.1/10 which for me is a pretty accurate assessment of the story line. I will add this comment to my personal rating of the movie, I liked it much more than the recent Beverly Hills Cop reboot. Wheels

This problem is not unique to this site since it is also happening at the Combat Pilot forums. https://forum.combatpilot.com/topic/53-technical-issues/?do=findComment&comment=9215 When I click the Leaderboard link and then open the Past Leaders page it opens just fine to page 1 but if I click on any of the other page links 2, 3, 4, etc. the page does not update to the new page. I stay on the original page. The only way I can get the page to update is to click on the link which does update the browser line, but does not go to the requested page, and then use F5 or Ctrl-F5 so the page updates. Once I refresh the page if I want a new page I have to follow the same routine, click the link and use F5 or CTRL-F5 so it will update. I have this problem with the Firefox, Palemoon, and Edge browsers. As I have already stated this problem for me is not unique to this site. Wheels

Lol, I would love to be able to needle you for using Discord for comms and say that TeamSpeak is rock solid and always works but it crashed for us just last Sunday. Wasn't just one channel that went offline either. The DangerDogs's, the 352nd, and SimHQ's channels were giving database error messages or some other message that does not come to mind at the moment. Seems to have been on TeamSpeak's side since all of the channels are working again as of today. Wheels

Saw it. Sadly, as usual, the pre-release hype did not live up to what ended up being the final product. The movie was not terrible by any means and it did have a moment or two that clicked but it just did not engender the same nostalgic feelings I got when I saw Top Gun: Maverick. Wheels

Lol, nope. A couple of those artillery bursts as i was landing were just a wee bit too close for comfort. It was also the reason I ended the video so quickly. We do have a Repair/Rearm/Refuel location on that base and I was in it when I finally stopped but the longer you sit in one location the more it seems that the artillery fire focuses on you. Wheels
